Ch. 29

So I've decided I'm going to make a quick short story with Bendy and the Ink Machine!
I've got an idea for a good short story (not a long one because the second chapter ain't out yet) aaa nd you guys can check it out if you want! Okay onto the story

//Matt's POV//

I stared at Edd for a short moment but nodded, "Let's just g-get you back into your hospital bed before we talk. Did any IV's pop out?" I asked, checking his arms with my eyes as I slowly propped him up.
"No... I'm okay.." he insisted as he took slow steps towards his bed.

I was patient, though. I wanted to make sure he was okay before anything else. I hummed as I slowly laid him on his bed after a minute of finally bringing him over.

I went over and slid a chair next to the bed, "What's up?" I asked, frowning down at the boy.
His chest and stomach was covered so tightly I thought he could suffocate.

"I'm okay.. I promise.. I just wanted to talk to you.." he mumbled as he put a hand on mind. I felt how weak he felt and gently squeezed his hand. I smiled warmly at his attempts. "What about?"

"I... I don't know.. Where's Tom?"

Tom? Oh, him.

I looked down at the marble floor and hummed, trying to think of where I last saw the spikey haired male. After three minutes of thinking and silence I shrugged. "I don't remember."

With a defeated sigh, Edd nodded and laid back down.

"Matt... I think I'm in love with someone.."

(Sorry for the very short chapter but I'm really tired atm and uh.. I have an F and math now and there's only 2 weeks left in the quarter
I have no missing assignments *except 1 incomplete and I got a 30% on a test and my grades are pretty bad in general* so.. any ideas how I can make it up? I'm just.. worried about that at the moment. I want a D at least a D+ or a C- is also appreciated lmao)
