Note: Hello everyone!!! I noticed you were very impatient for the next chapter, so I updated within a few days. Unfortunately, you will have to wait longer for the next ones.

I would like to thank for one more time the devoted readers, because they help me very much with their comments. And I completely exclude you from the words I am going to write below.

Guys, when you read something, read it with your heart, or don't read it at all. I have told many times, that I don't consider myself a writer, and I don't chase reads or votes. I write for me and now, for the readers I respect and love. And you are not obliged to read my story if you don't want to. Just don't lie to me. I understand very well when someone has read my story or not. Read it because you enjoy the plot and the characters. And if you think it's too long, just say it. In that case, the last four chapters are ready, so I'll post them, and we're over. Just don't pretend cause with each chapter I give a part of my soul and free time.

Well, you should see the previous and that one as a unity, and you will understand why.

This chapter is dedicated to @AllyAce because I love her comments. If you want a dedication, please PM me. @TheWizardGuy thank you for your note about Ellinor and Julie Andrews. Enjoy!  Oh! And check the multimedia.

                  19. Closer

It's spiraling down
Biting words like a wolf howling
Hate is spitting out each others mouths
But we're still sleeping like we're lovers

Still with feet touching
Still with eyes meeting
Still our hands match
Still with hearts beating

"Still" Daughter

Are you with child?” he asked confused, still holding the evidence in his palm. He ran his other hand through his hair. Roselyn was pressing her lips and thighs together, while Philip also shocked leaned on the wall behind him.

“That explains everything,” the King continued. “Why you faint here and there, why you are so moody, why you don’t eat. Penny had those symptoms, too. I remember clearly.”

“Alexander,” Roselyn murmured, but it was impossible to make him stop. He was speaking loudly and extremely fast, while his cheeks were flushed. You could see a million feelings on his face.

“Do you have any idea what does this mean? Redmond will have a new heir and I will become… Gosh, why didn’t you tell me earlier? ”

“And why should I tell you?” her words hit him like a lightning. She raised her voice, which immediately lowered. “This child doesn’t have to do anything with you.”

He hesitated for a moment to process the data, then he gaped and threw the plastic tube with an abrupt movement on the table.

“You cheated on me?” he asked terrified.

“Are you accusing me of cheating? That’s what you do, not I,” she snapped, and he became even angrier.

“So, you’ve been with another man after you left from here, with Ellinor’s blessings! Who was it? Who the hell was this bastard?”

“Relax man,” the third person in the room tried to make him relax, but the King turned to his side and gave his friend a murderous look.

“That’s none of your business,” he warned and then turned abruptly to the queen, who was biting her lip. “At least, I have the right to know the name of my replacer in her bed.”

His voice was full of bitterness and irony that made Roselyn’s heart to stop. That man was outrageous and out of control, and she couldn’t understand why.
