To you.
I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it when I sorrow the most;
'tis better to have loved and lost
Than to never have loved at all.
-Alfred Lson.
Bonjour! Thank you for being here. I really appreciate your presence because honestly I wrote this book for myself -- to let my hurricanes out, but knowing you're here just makes it better. I hope the adventure ahead is worth it.
The work ahead would obviously not be flawless - far from that actually. But I know that I'm always learning from my mistakes and evolving. Okay I'm boring, just scroll on, bye lol.
Serena was every bit of lost in this carnival called life. Intimidating faces brushed past her everyday. But none quite could she trust. Not one who'd hold her hand and help her out of this mess.
And when the only one person she finally lets into her life abandons her, she picks up the pieces of her shattered heart and glues them back together. She opens a heart repair shop in her little kitchenette and consoles other victims of heartbreaks with her sweet talks and macaroons.
Everything was well and good and the world was at peace, until the little boy she felt a flutter for years ago, appears at her front door all grown up -- with a smile that hid the sun beneath its curve, it was unfair not to fall in love again.
