It's been three months since Moana's father died. She became chief. And along with being chief, she became more distance.

"Hey Moana!" I called her.

"So move the grove farther from the ocean. The children, help them learn harvesting for three moons." She instructed a villager.

"Moana!" I called again.

"Chief Moana! The chickens are becoming moody agian! But it's not mating season!" A elder complained.

"Is it the young ones?" Moana questioned.

"Yes!" She exclaimed.

"Maturity. It's nothing big." Moana answered

"Oh thank you Moana! Thank you!" The elder called as she ran away.

Moana slumped slightly taking a deep breath.

"Moana!" I called agian.

"WHAT?!?" She screamed turning to face me.

"Geez curly. Calm down!" I said slowing down.

"Sorry Maui. I'm just stressed. I haven't slept in three days." She sighed.

I stopped in front of her. She had huge bags under her eyes.

"When was the last time you were down by the ocean?" I asked her.

"Since the last time I told you." She sighed.

I grabbed her arm and started to pull her with me.

"Maui! What are you doing?!? I need to stay here! The village! THE VILLAGE!! YOU SON OF A-"  She started to scream.

" Language princess. There are kids around. Plus your mom is looking after the village." I said dragging her to her house.

I looked at her. She was wearing her chief outfit. A beige crossing top with orange trim at the bottom, a grass orange red and yellow skirt, and a flower crown of red yellow orange and gold flowers. We stopped at her hut.

"Go change." I said.

"What?" She asked tilting her head.

"Just go!" I said slightly shoving her inside of her hut.

A few minutes later she came out in her old outfit with her grandmothers old necklace. She looked more relaxed.

"Feel better?" I asked.

"Much better." She said.

I smirked and took her arm once agian.

"Where are we going? Maui!!!" She whined.

I snickered and pulled her towards the beach.

(Moana's POV)

What the? A boat with flowers decorating the sail was ready for launch at the beach. Food and water were ready to go.

"Maui? What's this?" I asked him.

"It's your break." He said.

I rolled my eyes and giggled hopping on to the boat.

He pushed the boat off the beach and we were gone.
