"Dinner Callie." He said through the door, for the fifth time in the last hour, I sighed angrily and ignored him. He was becoming more and more persistent I join them for meals and movies and shit but all I could think was why hadn't he killed me, why keep me alive? If I was such a danger to the gangs secrecy then why hadn't I got a bullet through my head? That thought evaporated as he opened the door and strutted in.
"Callie please, your so difficult, and it's only been a few days, can you please come down and join us for dinner?" He huffed his eyes burning, but they made me feel something I hadn't felt before, snap out of it god sake!
"No I don't want to, I feel trapped and it's not fair you won't let me go!" I stood up to level to his stature but I was at least ten inches smaller so it didn't quite work.
He sauntered closer to me, so close in fact I could smell his after shave, his prickly chin was perfectly cut around his mouth, up his jaw and stopped at the hair line, it was those details that made him so perfect. He looked me up and down then smirked tutting at me. "You haven't changed your clothes since three days ago when we got home after seeing your parents, why?" He was trying to hide his mixture of disgust and laughter.
"Because I'm depressed!" I exclaimed like it was obvious. He looked at me for a second then burst into tears of laughter, it was a sight to see but it also made my head burn, I felt my cheeks flush with anger and embarrassment.
"Your such a dick you know that right?" I stated then grabbed some clothes from my bag.
He silenced once again, he was wearing his leather jacket, white shirt, and black skinny jeans with vans, he looked hot, but I couldn't think that way, because I'm pretty sure he knows what I think sometimes.
"If I don't comment on your style of clothing ever again, will you join us tonight?" He asked seriously, I frowned unsure what 'tonight' will entail.
"Fine, go so I can change." I shooed him out of my room, he looked surprised.
"Bossy." He commented in a pissed voice then walked down the hall, not looking back once. Closing the door I slumped to the ground hopelessly, how was I going to survive living with fifteen of him?

After I changed into a pair of trackies and a cop top, I left my room, walking down the confusing halls I crossed one of the men I believed to be Joe.
"Hi miss Callie." He smiled, I felt a little shocked inside at his politeness considering they were all killers.
"Hi joe?" I questioned.
He nodded chuckling a little. "Yeah, Jace asked me to come and show you where to go." He turned back down the hall, I followed looking at the dark coloured walls, and many doors down each hall way.
"Hey Joe, what is his deal?" I asked matching his pace.
"Who Jace?" He asked, i nodded and he sighed tiredly, "he's lovely really, and I don't even understand why he's kept you alive, none of the men are happy about it, but we don't have a word against his."
"Wow thanks, I feel so safe here. Where everyone but one person wants to kill me. " I said sarcastically.
He laughed again his blue eyes creasing with amusement, and his longish brown hair throwing around madly as he then his head back.
"You have nothing to worry about, if any of us touched you, he would kill us, and we don't want none of that so don't fret, you won't be getting killed any time soon." He told me calmly, just as we entered a huge glass room, it was dimly lit, there was a hot tub, a buffet table, and a bar, with music blaring out the speakers. "It's hot tub night tonight." He hinted pushing me forward, all the men looked at me, come mutual expressions, but some harsh glared stood out to me the most and it wasn't pleasant to see a group of murderers glaring at me. I smiled shyly, Jace appeared out of the bar and smiled. "Well well well look who it is, someone decided to clean up and join us two hours late but still better late than never!" He amused then threw me a bikini, fuck no! I was not wearing this in front of all of these men, they would have perfect access to my limbs. "What scared of a bit of fun are we?" He teased jumping in to the pool and taking off his t shirt like all the others. Joe had now joined as wel, it was just me left.
"Your joking, I'm a party animal." I said back evenly, then went behind the screen, changed and leaped into the hot tub, making all them jump out of their skins, which I found super hilarious.
I looked over at Jace who looked very amused, he smiled at me, what!? He actually smiled at me, a proper genuine smile! It was a rarity but it made my heart skip several beats. I froze under his gaze till Carter poked me in the shoulder.
"Your brave you know, not many people would jump into a hot tub with a gang of fifteen men with a reputation of violence." He smiled, I was starting to see that they weren't all monsters but that was what they had been bred to be, they were actually all starting to warm to me, and that made me happy.
"Well it's not what I'm used to but guess I'll have too." I laughed lightly, he nodded then took a swig of his Jack and Coke. "Would you like one?" He gulped quickly realising I was just watching without one of my own.
"Oh yes please if you don't mind?" He nodded and jumped out, his chest was rock solid with a v which disappeared into his shorts, I turned to see Jace staring me down, he made me feel uneasy, but I tried to relax and ignore his moods. Carter returned with my jack and Coke, I swigged it down in one, then opened my eyes to see all of them staring at me in shock.
"What? I can handle my drink okay, parties are my thing, as I've said, I'm in this situation because I went to a party! You guys don't know girls at all." I laughed, they all looked at each other. "But I'm going to have a shower now, because it's late and I'm tired, night." I climbed out of the tub, placed my cup on the side and walked out, but I heard them mumbling and stood just outside out of sight to listen to what they were saying about me.
"Jace how are we going to kill her, she's brilliant!?" I heard Carter asking, laughing sourly. My heart flipped, they were still planning on killing me? I frowned in disappointment and worry as I listened more.
"Let's not talk about that, first we need to decide how to hide her- wait a second..." I heard Jace saying then water swishing about, then footsteps. Shit! I closed my eyes and waited for the blow. The doors swung open and I was standing there cringing in the eyes of Jace. "I don't like eavesdroppers Callie...." He told me sternly, I stood tall (as I could) and faced him.
"Kill me...just fucking do it okay! I don't want to live in a world where I'm treading on egg shells because of all you murderers, you disgust me!" I yelled then stormed out of the hall to my room, where ever it was now.
"Callie! Come back here! Callie!" I heard him calling from behind, he was following me to my room, I thundered around the house, trying to find my room, with this beautiful yet dangerous guy following me around. "Callie I know you don't know where your going! Your not going the right way you know? Callie just listen to me." He had caught up with me now, I whirled round I face him.
"Tell me, give me some answers Jace!" I asked furiously.
"Where your room is? Well if we go back to halls away, and follow-" he started but I cut him off.
"No you dick! Give me answered about why I'm here, why I'm not dead, and what you do?"
"Come with me to your room and I'll give you some answers which I'm willing to give." He pulled me around the long house till we found my room, walked in and sat down. I looked at him expectedly, waiting for him to talk.
"What do you want to know?" He asked eventually after lighting a cigarette.
"Why haven't you killed me yet?" I asked then prepared for the blow. He smiled a small smile, one that made me nervous to the core, one that made me question why he had kept me alive.
"The men, well most of them want to kill you, but you've done nothing of any harm, you were just in the wrong place in the wrong time, plus it would be a whole scandal about where you are, and I have enough on my plate." He replied calmly like it was a common topic.
"Hmmmm, what do you do? Apart from murder people?" I moved on quickly to my next question.
"Just a quick thing I am not a murderer, none of us are Callie. We are a gang, that's our job, and occasionally we get crosses by other gangs, which have to be eliminated if they test us, like the other night. See we loose a lot of men, a lot of men, for no reason, we make deals, they cross the line and people get hurt, we bring the after pain though, that is my job, I do not kill for a living, I kill when necessary." He told me evenly.
"Don't you get caught?"
"Bloody hell Callie, use some common sense, all gangs are hiding, the easiest way to be caught is report a killing, because then both gangs would get caught, we move on with revenge then forget."
"How many men have you lost?" I was so surprised at his casualness about all of this.
"We've lost twenty from this gang location, but about seventy from our other gangs out together around the country. Not as many as we have killed in other gangs but enough to cause casualties."
I looked down at my fidgety hands, I was so nervous. "When can I go?" I looked up for his reaction.
He shrugged and stood up sharply. "When we can trust you Callie, I mean you saw everything, if we let you go and you tell, I, we are as good as dead, and when I mean we, that's including you sweet cheeks. Good night." Then he strolled out closing my door behind him. I just sat speechless for a while....
A gang, I'm like a member now in a way, but I would not hurt a soul, never, never ever....

BANG BANG BANG
"Callie get the fuck up, now!" I voice screamed in my ear, that's when I heard the bangs. It was hunter and Max, shoving me to wake up, as gun shots fired all around us. In my room!? "Get up!" Hunter yelled at me pulling me out, shit I was just in my shorts and crop top! Hunter took my hand and pulled me out the room, Max following closely as he could. We ran down the halls, it was so noisy, I could hear yelling from all around me, bullets, crashes.
"AHHH!!!" Max sounded from behind us, I whirled round to see him on the floor, a bullet in his chest, blood spewed every where, out of his chest, through his clothes, into a puddle on the floor, his auburn coloured hair was blood stained, and he sunk down eyes shutting slowly.
"NO, we can't just leave him!" I cried as hunter pulled me away from him, and down the hall, the last thing I saw was the growing puddle and him fully sunken on the floor in his own blood.
"Callie, we have to, otherwise we would also be dead, better one than three deaths, now run faster!" He shouted back at me, I wiped my tears and ran after him. What the hell on earth was going on? We burst out the doors were I was shoved into the van, I was about to close the door, when I saw Joe running to get in, I kept it open so he could get in, he was climbing in, when another BANG shot through the air, Joe collapsed on my lap, blood spewing out of his side.
"AHHHH, oh my god help help help, it's Joe. Joe joe listen to me, it's all okay, keep breathing with me." I pulled his messy hair out of his face to see his weltering eyes.
"Callie, don't trust anyone....keep safe." Then his eyes closed, his breathing rasped as he took his last breath.
Tears fell from my face as Jace appeared, his face hard but I could see raw emotion behind his eyes. He pulled Joe off my lap, laid him gently on the floor, whilst shooting in the other direction, then climbed over me into the car. "Close the door Callie, hunter drive now!" I closed the door hurriedly, as we sped off, it was all so overwhelming, I'd seen two people die, one of which was the only person who had made me feel some comfort since I arrived. I couldn't cope, it was all too much, my eyes spotted with white, till all I could see was white, then bang.....
