Chapter 13: And So It Begins
And so... the Winter Cup finally came...
"Alright! Time to put our game face on!" Tamaki cheered.
Alright, let's start by introducing our famous or not so famous Johoshi team.
First and foremost, our team captain, Kuroko Tetsuya! Next the rest of the regulars in the starting line-up... Kazuto, Brett, Katatsura and Takumi.
Our bench players, Yato, Yukine, Hitogaku and Tamaki.
Our manager, Ayari. Our healer/other manager (as stated in the registration), Hiyori.
And the rest of the helpers of the team who weren't allowed on the court, Miri and Mirai! As well as Misaki.
They're team was small, and not famous in the Japan basketball world. But it was enough. Tetsuya knew that this was enough. His dream team.
As they sat in the locker room, awaiting for their first match, Tetsuya stood up. "Let's give it our all," he smiled.
"You said it Captain!" Yato and Tamaki exclaimed.
"We'll make it to the finals," Tetsuya continued. "And we'll win."
"JOHOSHI FIGHT!!!"

"Our victory is absolute," Akashi said.
"Right, no one can beat us," Aomine said cockily.
"Let's go bring back the championship!" Riko smiled.

And so it begins. The first few games of the Winter Cup have started. And both the GOM and Johoshi were on a roll!
The GOM tripled all of their opponents scores, while Johoshi had beaten them all with flying colours.
And finally, came the finals. The end game is here!!!
As the spectators filled in, they were all whispering about the match.
"Eh...? Who knew Johoshi jad such a strong team," Kasamatsu said as he walked into the gym. Moriyama was next to him.
"Oh, you would be surprised," Moriyama said. "After all, it is Kuroko-kun's team."
"Wait, huh?!" Kasamatsu exclaimed.
"Oh, right, I didn't tell you. Kuroko-kun is studying in Johoshi. And his manager is Ayari, and his cousin is Hitogaku whom you've both met, right?"
"Huh?! Gaku is his cousin?! Why didn't you tell me before?!"
"Huh," Moriyama thought. "I forgot."
Black lines behind Kasamatsu. Then he sighed. The two of them sat down in the stands. "Well, this could just be a very interesting match."

"Hoho, looks like we made it in time," Imayoshi said as he, Susa, Wakamatsu and Sakurai took a seat.
"Yeah. Looks like Johoshi really did make it to the finals," Susa said.
"But of course," Imayoshi answered. "After all, that is where Kuroko is. And Ayari is there too."
"Wait, you mean the old phantom sixth man?" Wakamatsu asked. "He's in Sakurai's school?!"
"H-Hai," Sakuari stuttered. "Sorry, I didn't tell you."
