Star's POV

My eyes fluttered open, to find myself in a white room, and wires connected to machines, checking my pulse. I screamed and sat straight up in the bed I was in. 

"Where am I?!?!" I tried to get up and walk to the door, but the only thing that was stopping me was the sharp pain in my side.

Marco then ran into the room with Janna. "Star! You're finally awake!" He said giving me a hug.

"H-how long have I been asleep?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"The doctors said you've been in a coma like thingy for three days." Janna said sitting on the bed with me.

"What did Toffee do to you?" Marco questioned with a concerned look on his face.

"Well, he didn't let me eat anything, first of all. And I was basically like his 'Cinderella', except instead of being locked in a room, he would beat me if I did anything wrong."

Flashback

"But I don't know how to do the dishes." I explained to Toffee after he told me to do them.

"That's because you're such a spoiled brat! You're 'daddy's little princess', and have everything done for you. Do you even know how hard it was for me when I was younger, with no parents or anybody to help me?"

I shook my head before he threw me to the floor and kicked me in the stomach.

Hard.

"Obviously." He sneered walking out of the room, leaving me on the floor holding onto my now bruised stomach.

End of Flashback

"Oh my God Star." Janna whispered and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back, and then Marco too.

"If you ever need to talk Star, we're here." Marco said, putting a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

I took his hand and held it in mine. "Thanks Marco. So do you guys know how much longer I have until I'm can get out of this hospital?"

"One of the nurses said later tonight, as long as nothing changes or something like that." Janna said.

"Star?" Marco looked up at me when he was playing with his fingers.

"Yeah."

"Is it true, what Toffee said? About you being Summer Keen?"

I exchanged a look with Janna and sighed. "Yes, it is true."

"But why didnt you tell me?"

"I just wanted you to just be friends with the real me, not 'Summer Keen". And I was afraid maybe you wouldn't like me for not telling you my secret, but then again it's a secret for a reason." I covered my face with my hands and slid back into the bed, hoping it would devour me.

"Star, you being Summer Keen would not change the way I think about you. You've been Summer all this time, and I still lo... like you for who you are. And right now, you're Star Butterfly, nothing else." He ruffled my already messy hair with his bulky hands and chuckled.

"Thanks Marco, I really needed to hear that." I said.

Marco's POV.

I'm not surprised that Star is Summer Keen, I mean, with her beautiful voice and everything.

"But please Marco, don't tell anyone about, this." Star gestures to herself sitting in the hospital.

"I won't, I promise."
