That night, I slept like a drunk. I was out like a damn light. Probably the best night of sleep I've ever had, here or at home. I woke up and had not a single clue what time it was. Then Ruby walked in.

"Finally," she said looking at me, "we're tired of being quiet out there. Now we can start training completely."

"I'm sorry," I said getting up, "didn't plan to sleep that late. What time is it even?"

"Almost noon," she said throwing a bottle at me. Luckily I caught it before it landed in my lap. "Come on, our Uncle wants to spar with you."

I smirked and looked at her. "Give me ten minutes."

She skipped out of the room and left me to get ready.

"Ghost?" I asked.

"Yes Guardian?" He responded appearing next to me.

"Have you been keeping tabs on the people I've met?"

"Yes, would you like to see the one about their uncle?"

"You bet. Give me as many details as you can."

I started to get my gear around while he told me as much info as he could gather. After I was ready I stepped outside. The three of them were sparring, it was a 2v1 situation. A skilled fighter could make it out of that situation. Knowing this family, that was probably gonna happen. Qrow had a sword out, it reminded me of my own, but his was... more mechanical. Yang started the attack first.

I guess I should mention their fighting style. Yang was more of a brawler, she had these... gauntlets that convert into bracelets. She would throw a punch and the damn things would fire. When she wound up for the next punch the things would chamber another round and eject the last shell. It sounded like a shotgun but fired these... balls of energy.

Then there's Ruby, she was more of a sporadic fighter. Fighting like she wanted to confuse the enemy. Great tactic actually if that is what she goes for. She uses her scythe to move around, using the momentum from the kickback to her advantage. She's a smart fighter honestly, I feel like Yang's emotions get in the way of her fighting. Which can help sometimes, but can be a problem when someone realizes it. In a way, they can get a hold of you by the balls if they do it right.

Back to what was happening, Yang rushed her uncle. She fired a round towards him, and he blocked it. This didn't shock me, what shocked me is what happened next. The entire time she was firing rounds, she was running towards him. Then she got within striking range, and she threw a punch. It connected, but with the blade of his sword. He used the momentum to spin and knock her away. She landed on her back five feet away then slid three more feet. She threw herself back up into the air and glared at him.

"You're getting better kid," Qrow said to her, "but you gotta pick your shots. Some are better than others."

"And some can put you in more danger." I said stepping out towards them.

"He has a point," he said with a smirk on his face.

"Think of it this way," I continued while looking at Yang, I was using my hands to describe what I was saying. "Say you're fighting a Grimm alone. You throw a punch, it is close to the right placement, but slightly off. It counters your attack, throwing you onto the ground. Before you can get up, a pack of them surrounds you. Now you have more to fight. Making things tougher on your end. I understand that in the heat of battle you make mistakes. I know it's hard to stay vigilant, and know where your enemies are and how to attack. Believe me, I know from experience. Some costly..."
