A/N
I'm back! So after some intense writers block, I've finally come up with a new chapter. I've also decided to go somewhere different with the plot, so hopefully I'll be able to update more! Now onto the story...
I am woke up in the middle of my nightmare by my alarm clock. I'm not concerned about having a nightmare, the only time I dream is when I have nightmares. It's a common nightmare. A zombie apocalypse. I don't understand why I have nightmares about a zombie apocalypse because I understand that realistically a zombie apocalypse would only last a few months at most. I guess I need to lay off of The Walking Dead.
Nothing really happened in my dream. The only thing that ever really changes is the scenery and situation, but other than that it's all the same. Not that I'm complaining, I like consistency. But now back to the real world. It's currently 6:30 in the morning, the sun isn't shining through my curtains because it's the middle of winter and the sun decides to only show for like an hour in the afternoon. As much as I would like to incubate myself in my blankets for the rest of my life, I quite literally roll myself out of the bed to face the day.
My morning routine you ask? Why, when I step out of my house, the side walk turns into a red carpet. I'm talking like full glam makeup and intricate hair styles. No. Honestly it takes me like 10 minutes to get ready. Diving into my "routine", I start with my hair first. Nothing to complicated, just a simple French braid. French braids are one of my favorite hairstyles, except when I finish, it feels like I've been working out for like an hour. After letting my arms recover, I move onto makeup. Let's keep it super simple. Brown eyeshadow, because I just adore the tired look, you know, to let people know I'm too tired to function, mascara, and last but not least, highlighter. I don't really adhere to makeup trends much, but highlighter is like an everyday must for me. So after I finish making myself "presentable", I get dressed. Again, nothing to fancy, just jeans and a hoodie because I'm constantly cold. Throwing on my chucks, I look at the time. 6:47 a.m.
"Nice," I mumble as I haphazardly throw things into my bag.
Traveling into the kitchen, I place my bag into a chair and begin to rummage through the cabinets in search of something to eat. After a few minutes, I decided not to worry about it because who eats breakfast anymore? Since I'm the only one awake in my house, I decided to spend my extra minutes scrolling randomly through my social media.
After a few minutes of doing this, I decided that it was time to leave for class. I grabbed the keys to my car and gathered the rest of my stuff, and then walked out the door to face another day of hell.
So that's the end of the chapter! How was it? Is there anything I could improve upon? And also let me know if you have any questions because I would be happy to answer! Until next time!
