A Certain Magic World

18. Forgetting isn't a bad thing...

Thankfully they had a healer there, my cut was healed like it was nothing... but shh's would take more time to heal. We decided to do the mission without him and he said "I'll be waiting here..." "We'll Finish Quickly." Teach said "and afterwards you can see me kick teach's ass" I wasn't sure what got into me but one thing was for sure... I'm glad we were in a hospital.... after I was fixed once again we set out to complete our mission. As it turns out we had to deliver something to a town after this one, we made our way through crowded streets and met up with a man who handed us a package. Me being a street rat it made me feel a bit nostalgic. We were given a rundown which was great for me because I still had no idea what we were doing and with that we set out to deliver the package. This town was a lot smaller than the one I live in which meant rumors would spread faster. From the time we spent there I could hear people talking about how we disturbed something but they never said much. This isn't so surprising since there are monsters all over the place, people weren't the only thing affected with strange powers, some animals, some plants, and even some new creatures suddenly appeared. People live in these towns with big walls surrounding them and you have to go through a sort of inspection to go in or out. Although it's not that hard to sneak in or out, some places allow people to enter and pass as they please and other places don't have walls. Finally we arrived at this towns exit. Teach told them what was going on and we advanced. The next towns about half of a day away so we were in a bit of a hurry. I ran 3 steps and then said "WAIT!!!" Everyone stopped and looked at me. "What Is It?!?" Asked teach, and I replied with "... I think we've earned a brake" I sat down but then felt someone grab me by the shirt, then I felt I nice cool breeze, and finally I felt my body roll along the ground. I stood up a little shaken up to be treated with the sound of Teach yelling and charging towards me. My very being told me that I ever wanted to enjoy my magazines or drink milk again I should run. And not look back. So I did just that. My eyes were blinded by light, I quickly covered them and heard someone say "Oh good, you're awake" I turned to see what appeared to be an angel. As I sat there dazed not just by her warm smile, but also he mesmerizing eyes and her huge rack I was treated with a kick to the face... and a familiar sound filled the room "YOU PERV!!!" I landed on the floor and managed to say "... it's good to see you too...Mem..." "Oh no!" The Angel said and came to my aid and began to heal me. "That wasn't nice." The angel scolded Mem for kicking me. Before another word could be said I grabbed the angel's hand and said "Thank you, you kind Angel!" She looked confused and this just made Mem even more mad. I saw she was preparing to attack once again and quickly moved so she wouldn't hurt the angel. I exited the room and ran down the hall to Be met with a surprise attack from teach, she grabbed me from behind and said "Wahoo! No Paperwork For Me Tonight!" A bit confused I thought it best to not provoke teach so I stayed still, Mem arrived in no time but stopped wanting to attack me when she saw I was in teach's clutches. I then realized I had no idea where I was or what was going on so I asked....."wait where am I and what happened?" Mem then told the story of how I was running from teach and how I tripped over nothing and she caught up with me. She also said that if anybody asked I was attacked by bears, pumas, lions, a shark, and tortured by bandits, I also fell from a cliff and landed on glass.At first I realized how little sense that made....Then I realized how lucky I was to not remember anything.
