Corbyn Imagine for Jasmine

Corbyn and I have been best friends since Pre-k  we've been together through high and low  but it all changed when he began dating his girlfriend .

Now we barely spend time together  because he's either on tour , or with his girlfriend or with his family . Its like he's forgotten all about me .

He even forgot my birthday , and that's when I decided that it was better if we stopped being friends .

I was laying on my bed when I got a text from Corbyn

CORBS- Hey I'm outside. Sent at 8:54pm

ME- ...Sent at 8:57pm

CORBS- C'mon Jas  open up , we need to talk. Sent at 9:00pm

ME- Fine ill be there . Sent at 9:01pm

CORBS- JASMINE COME OPEN THE FREAKING DOOR. Sent at 9:57pm

Me- Sorry , I guess I forgot I was really busy doing nothing

CORBS- C'mon just stop it and come open the door

ME-FINE!

 I Huffed angrily and walked downstairs , I opened it and let in an angry Corbyn

¨Was all that really necessary?!¨He screamed

¨Uh Yeah , cause my Best friend forgot my FREAKING birthday !¨I yelled back

¨I CAME  to say sorry¨ He said back

¨Yeah , well you're not forgiven  , I'm FED UP with you always standing me up or Canceling our plans ¨I said walking to the kitchen   with him trailing behind

¨You know I don't do it on purpose ¨He said turning me around

¨It feels like it , Ever since you started dating that girl you've forgotten all about me ¨I told him

¨DONT bring her into this , and she's my girlfriend , its not my fault that you're still single , Ive tried to set you up with friends but none of them are up to perfect Jasmines expectations ¨He said harshly

¨THATS BEACUSE IVE HAD A  CRUSH ON YOU FOR THE LONGEST TIME YOU DUMBASS¨I yelled

He looked shocked , he stared into my eyes for a while and then left my house . I broke down on the floor crying . I just lost my best friend.

THREE YEARS LATER

Its been three years since I last heard from Corbyn , Two years since I moved to New York

I've been fine , I've made new friends here and work as an assistant buyer at Bloomingdales .

Currently my friends and I were taking a trip to LA for a wedding we got invited to .

Once at the hotel we immediately went to sleep to get some rest for the next day.

 Once we all woke up we got ready to go to the wedding and when we got there my friend hugged her brother  Jonah who happened to   be the groom of the wedding.

We were all in our seats seeing the bride walking down the isle when I noticed wo was the grooms best man , It was him . Corbyn.

As the wedding finished we went to the party  I looked for my table and saw that He and I shared  a table with some  other people .

¨So , we meet again ¨A voice said from behind me

I turned around and met with those beautiful blue eyes

¨Hi Corbyn¨I said  and smiled   

¨You look amazing ¨He said walking closer

¨Thank you ¨I answered

We talked for while , and everything was going fine until he mentioned what happened three years ago.

¨Corbyn , just forget it , you're dating her and I should be happy for you¨ I told him

¨No Jas I wont forget it and I'm  not dating her anymore ,  I broke up with her  the day after you moved to New York cause I realized that I lost the most amazing person my life ever had . I love you Jasmine ¨He said truthfully

I smiled and looked him straight in the eye

¨I love you too¨

He smiled and leaned in to Kiss me and so did I and  it happened after so long , I made it out of the friend zone and began dating my best friend
