I decided to keep a low profile after the events of the day, and stayed in my room, my wolf seemed a little quiet and I wondered if it had anything to do with the proximity of our mate.

Me- “Hey Nia how are you doing?”                                       

Nia- “to be honest I just feel relieved, I don’t feel the mating connection with him so much for some reason it’s diminishing making things easier to deal, with and handle.”

Me- “yeah I noticed that I didn’t feel attracted to him in fact his touch disgusted me, why is that, it’s not supposed to be like that is it.”

Nia-“ I’m not sure Kadie, but I do know that change is on the horizon for us both we are going to have to make hard choices and challenged more than we have ever been before hand, right now just find comfort in the fact that we aren’t being suffocated by our mate”

And then she was gone, I lay down and thought about what she said, and sunk into a fitful sleep.

Kadie’s dream/Vision

“Hello Kadence” a melodic voice floated to me, I opened my eyes to see that I was in a field surrounded by flowers, wearing a floating white dress, I looked around to find the owner of the voice and happened upon the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, a warm feeling clutched at my heart and a sensation of love warmth and gentleness surrounded me, I bowed my head “ Moon Goddess, I am honoured” for that is the only person she could be her silver hair flowed out around her and she floated as if time itself had no hold on her, her face was flawless and had otherworldly appearance to it she was stunning, and I felt awed by her presence, she seemed to settle on the ground before me and lifted my chin so that I was staring into her eyes.

"My child, I am so proud of the woman I see standing here before me, you have grown strong and survived all that has been thrown at you, the good and the bad, Kadence I called you here because there is to be a fierce battle ahead one, that you play an integral part of, it is your actions that will have an effect on wolves and how world continues as we know it, you and your wolf are special Kadence, I have explained all to Nia and over time all will be revealed so be patient, and listen to all that she tells you, and know that I would not have chosen you had I not believed in all that you could do”, I nodded at that humbled that she had such confidence in me.

"The reason I have called you here is because I know that this journey you are about to undertake is one that will prove perilous, and one that could be accomplished with the support and belief of another, your mate was chosen through divine reasoning, it is rare that a rejection takes place showing that there was truly a mistake made, for this journey that you are to take I offer you the chance to retract your true mate connection and form another, with a kindred soul, chose wisely my child because this opportunity comes but once and cannot be retracted” my head was spinning at all the possibilities and what I was being told, but deep inside I knew I wanted a chance of love, I wanted pups and a happily ever after, something I was convinced I would never have.

I answered without hesitation “ Yes it is my wish to retract my current mate bond and form another” she smiled at me “ very well child, the bond shall form over the next couple of days, and you’ll find you won’t have to search far, I believe this match is one that fate had intended all along, remember everything happens for a reason” I felt my surroundings dissipating as I drifted back into my surrounds I heard a whisper on the cusp of my dream “ remember my child trust in yourself, and trust in your mate”
