Chapter 5: A New Perspective

  ~Grunkle Stan's POV~ (The day Dipper was shot)

"What do you mean he's gone!" I shouted out of frustrated. "tell me what happened Mabel!" Mabel just stared at me in fear then nervously started to think. "Well..." she started, "He woke up early, like normal. He told me that he was going to get himself some breakfast and left to that berry bush he always goes to. After a while I heard a gun shot and he never came back." I got really ticked. I just hope he's okay, "I'm going to go get him back. Don't worry Mabel." I spoke with reassurance in my voice. With that I flew up into the sky searching for that bush he goes to ever morning. When I spotted it I dove right down, once I touched the ground I smelled a faint sent of blood. 

 I tracked it to a patch of twisted branches and right underneath them was a pool of half dried blood. Right behind the blood were deer prints. He was captured. I hope  he is still alive and if he is I am never going to stop looking for him. 

Ever.

~Dipper's POV~ (Back to present time)

"Come on Dipper. Stay with me and leave that triangle"  The purple Square spoke to me with such a soothing voice. "B-but I don't want to. If you want me to go with yo so bad then make me!!" I shouted at him, he has been tying this for hours and I was getting sick of it. "Okay then see you soon~"  "Wait, Wha-"

My eyes fluttered open. I felt like I was in a warm embrace. That's weird, I don't remember anyone hugging me before I went to sleep... wait. I glanced up to see Bill staring down at me with a look of amusement on his face. I started to blush and tried to push away but he just hugged me tighter, "Were you watching me sleep?" I sighed. "Yep, I just couldn't stop. You were so cute." "I told you already, I'm not cute!" I pouted and then yawned, crap. He smiled at me then started to giggle. "What's so funny?" I said. "Haha, your yawn is like a baby kitten" He managed to calm himself down to a smile. 

"Can you let me go now?" I said, trying to get out of his arms once more. Has said "Nope" and just hugged me tighter. I eventually gave up and just listened to his steady heartbeat. It was all quiet until Bill spoke up, "Hey, Pinetree. Are you hungry?" I nodded then realized we were still in our suits. "Alright then. And I'll pick something out for you to wear." He said, smiling. Before he let me go he kissed me on my cheek. I was finally free of his embrace, but then blushed madly remembering that he kissed my cheek. 

After a while Bill handed me a grey t-shirt and I put back on my jeans I wore the day before. "Yesh, kid. You're jeans look awful." Bill said to me when he walked out wearing a yellow t-shirt, black jeans and converse. I looked at him with a confused look, I thought he always wore that over-exaggerated suit. "My suit isn't 'over-exaggerated' and your jeans DO look awful." Bill said combing his fingers through his hair in the mirror. I crossed my arms and said, "There is nothing wrong with them. They just have a few holes that's all." I said sitting down in my bed next to the fireplace. He walked up next to me and sat down. 

~Bill's POV~

I knew something was bothering him from his dream, but when I tried to enter it, I was kicked out automatically. Like something or someone didn't want me in there. I was going to try to ask him about it but he wouldn't budge he just said, "Good" with a blank expression. Not to mention that the sense of Tad is still here. After awhile I got up and held my hand out for Pinetree to grab. "Well, come on. Let's go downstairs to get some breakfast." 

We walked out of my room and now the sense of Tad was stronger. It can't be. He can't be here. My mother would have known by now that we do NOT get along. 

But to my "amazement" TAD FUCKING STRANGE! I gave an irritated look at him and he gave me an evil  smirk in return. "Oh, why hello again cutie~" Tad said to Dipper. I grind my teeth hard and balled my hands into fists, trying to control my anger. Tad teleported in front of me while Dipper hid behind me. He has probably never seen anyone teleport before and he is a deer, the animals that are scared of almost anything. 

"Aw, don't be scared," He said turning invisible then reappears behind me. When I turned around he was holding Dipper by his collar, "I'm just interested in mythical creatures." he said with a wider smirk spreading across his face. I grabbed his neck causing him to let go of Dipper, "Don't you dare touch my Pinetree ever again." I said pushing him against the wall. He grunted then I let him go, making him fall to the ground. He gave me a glare then disappeared to hell knows where. 

Why did I care so much? Am I gay? It would explain a lot about me. Every time I am around Dipper, my heart flutters and I can't help but smile. And I have noticed that I am getting nicer around him and he is getting more comfortable around me. I hope he doesn't hate me for doing this. 

~Dipper's POV~ 

I stared at Bill, still recovering from Tad grabbing my collar. Everything was a bit blurry, when I finally got my vision back, I saw Bill holding Tad by the neck. He said something then dropped him, I saw a wide smirk on Tad's face before his disappeared. Bill turned around to face me. My face was filled with shock, he looked at me with a concerned look then ran over to me. He hugged me tightly saying, "Are you okay?" I nodded then hugged back. He let me go then said, "Good. Are you still hungry? We have strawberries and raspberries!" He was obviously trying to avoid any further questions, so I just rolled with it and said with a smile, "Yes please!"

The whole time he just watched me eat, just staring at me with a hypnotized gaze. His arms pinning up his head and is face had a large smile. I asked him is he wanted some but he just said he wasn't hungry. After a while Will skipped into the kitchen. "Hey Dipper!" Will said as he sat next to me, he was wearing a over-sized blue sweater and black skinny jeans, his light blue hair was still messy. "Hey Will" I began. "Hey um B-Bill? Are y-you okay?" Will asked when he noticed that  Bill was staring at me. There was no response. I guess Bill must have sent a mind message to him or something because Will just started to giggle. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. Will leaned over to my ear and whispered, "He likes you" Right then and there my face went red hot. I covered my face with hands trying to hide my blushing which then spread to my ears. 

Bill then zoned back in then said "What! No I don't!" Will just started to giggle then said, "That's not what your face is saying" I peaked through my fingers to find Bill slightly blushing. It was sort of ... cute! "Iv'e got to go pack! See ya Dipper!" Will said then left the room. "What is he talking about?" I asked wondering why he was going to pack. Bill looked back at me then crossed his arms avoiding eye contacted, "Him and my parents are leaving for a few weeks to go to some event." He said calmly. "And no, I'm not going with them." He said reading my mind. "Wait why-" Before I could finish my sentence he walked out of the room. 

After a little bit I realized that I had no idea where his room was. I jolted up then ran through the doors hoping that he would still be there. But I saw no sight of him. I started to panic as I walked at a fast pace through the maze Bill calls a home. I can into a large hallway that seemed familiar, so I started to open random doors. I found a huge office, a few bedrooms that were definitely not Bill's, and I found the Library. "What are you doing, here all alone cutie~" I heard a familiar voice speak from behind me. 

I froze then slowly turned around to see a purple man towering over me. "T-tad? Wha-What are you s-still doing h-here?" I spoke nervously. "Well, if you must know, I was invited to stay for a while longer. And I just thought I should explore then I saw you here. All. Alone." He evilly smirked at me. I stared straight into his dark purple cat like eyes. What should I do. 

He grabbed my wrists then pinning them to the wall. With the other hand he grabbed my chin smiling. His grip on my wrists started to tighten which made me whimper. "Come on. You must be stronger than that." I really wasn't I was trying my best to loosen his grip on me but every time I moved he tightened his grip. I let out more whimpers. "B-Bill, please help me." I mumbled then closing my eyes hoping it would be over. "I told you before to never touch him again you Square" I opened my eyes to see Bill behind Tad but Tad was turned into stone. Bill smashed Tad's arms releasing me from his grip. Tears started to fill my eyes then fall down my cheeks. I launched at him clinging around his waist crying into his stomach. My wrists hurt but I didn't care, I was so... happy to see him. 

I was expecting him to push me away but instead he hugged me back tightly. His touch was so reassuring and relaxing. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. For leaving you. I promise I will always protect you." He said calmly. I let out a small smile through my tears.
