My father told me how a man treats his Mother tells you everything you need to know. I don't know if I so much agree with that. I think how a mother treats their children tells you everything about how they'll treat the women they date if they're a man. If your mother loves & respects you, you'll love & respect women who are like her.
I sit in my Marketing class watching the analog clock move second by second. I hit enter posting the entry to my blog. I was supposed to be typing notes, but I checked out mentally a long time ago. It was my last class of the day and I was more than ready to get out. It's Wednesday aka hump day aka the middle of the school week aka two days away from Friday. I was excited about today because I was off from work today and I had an event for my sorority tonight that I'd be stepping at. I was always hype for those.
As soon as the clock hit 1:46 I began to pack my bags up. "We have a Kahoot! question for you guys to answer for attendance before you leave," our professors T.A. yells over the sounds of everyone packing their things up despite us having 4 minutes left. I grab my phone and quickly go to the app. I put the class code in then answer the question. Lucky for me I got the last seat on the aisle, so I didn't have to wait for slowpokes taking their good time to get out of my way.
I exit the lecture hall immediately seeing Sahara and Nubia waiting on me. "I am so over this semester and it barely started," I groan as we begin to walk.
"Wait! I wanna see that fine ass T.A. of yours," Nubia says standing in the middle of the hallway blocking people's way.
"Would you come on," I say going back and grabbing her. Typical Nubia.
"I just wanna see bae!" She whines as I drag her.
"He ain't checking for you. He's here to do a job and get his graduates degree." The T.A. was cute, but I'm sure even they had a policy they couldn't mess with students in their classes even though they're not actual teachers. He was over six feet with pretty, chocolate skin. Bryan is his name. I usually sat in the way top not actually paying attention, but I could give him my attention all class long.
