「(Y/n) 's pov」
There I was,in my seat,eating my ice cream.I was about to take another lick but then the white haired boy talked to me that caused me to stop.
"So (y/n),why did you join the Hunter Exam and Hunter Academy?" He asked.
"Oh,uhm....you see,my father has many enemies,unfortunately,he dragged me and my family with him.He was assassinated and since he dragged as down,we we're in danger.There are always many assassins trying to assassinate us for so many times.I need to fight and protect my family."
I aged the last piece of ice cream then continued talking.
"....Sometimes,when we really are in danger,I have to kill them.The police never arrested me because I was under age that time and it was self defence,but now I'm not under aged anymore and it's not self defence anymore also."
"What do you mean by 'self defence'?"
"Well...it's not self defence anymore because I,myself hunts them down.I noticed that the assassins that were ordered to assassinate us became stronger and it has increased by groups so I have to hunt them down before they even got the chance to move."
"Hmn.....interesting." The white haired said as he leaned on the chair.
"....I heared about the Hunter exam,and how I can kick their ass without getting myself to jail.I was twelve when I entered the exam,I passed the exam, they said that Chairman Netero was impressed at my skills so he invited me to attend the Hunter Academy.Unfortunately,after I was done with the exam we moved to another country.I just came back thus summer,and I enrolled at Hunter Academy."
Killua seemed to be amused a bit,but his face turned into it's normal expression again.
"So...how 'bout you? Why did you want to become a hunter?" I asked.
"For the fun of it.I heared that the Hunter Exam was challenging so I entered it." He answered simply.
'Is he serious? Just because of that?! Maybe this guy is really crazy....'
"Wait! Your last name is Zoldyck,right?"
"Yeah,why?"
"Aren't the Zoldycks a family of assassins?"
"Yeah"
"No wonder your one of the top students in Hunter Academy!"
He smirked at me.
"Are you jealous,(y/n)?"
"If course not! Why would I be?!" I'm confident with my skills,thank you very much!"
"Yeah,yeah"
"Uh....ma'am,sir,here's the vanilla ice cream you ordered!" The waitress said and place the vanilla ice cream on the table,the waitress bowed and left.
(A/n):yup,Killua ordered another ice cream.
'Maybe Killua would give it to me again....'
"Here (y/n)." He gave the ice cream to me.
My face lightened up.
"Thanks" I muttered, but before I had the chance to get the ice cream cup,he took it.
"What the- Killua! You said it's mine!" I whined.
"Yes,I did say it,but I was the one who paid for it so I have the right to take the first bite."
I glared at him.He has a point though.After he was done,he gave the cup to me.I was done eating the ice cream when someone burst through the door startling all of us.There revealed Retz and Gon with sweat beads forming in their temples while panting heavily.
"Where are *pant* the *pant* others?!" Retz asked angrily.
"H-how should I know?!" I answered."Why are you even panting anyway?" I asked.
"Huh? Oh this? Gon and I decided to pick you up,but then Arisa-nee said that you already left.We kinda ran because we don't want to be late." She explained.
"Okay....so,what vehicle we're we using again?" I asked.
"Uhm....Miss Bisky said we'll take the van."
"Oh...."
