Normal Pov

You were traveling with your two best friends, Alain and Mairin, around the Kalos Region.

"I have to get to training. The Kalos League is coming up soon, so Y/N would you mind to keep an eye on Mairin for me?" Alain says emotionless like always, as you all stop in front of a Pokémon Center in Luminose City.

"Alain~! Don't treat me like a baby!" Mairin says upset.

"Don't worry Mairin, we're gonna have lots of fun without him" you say, definitely cheering her up, Alain rolling his eyes.

"Hmpf, you're right! Let's go Y/N-chan!" Mairin grumbled before taking your hand and walked into the Pokémon Center.

"Dedenne wait!"

"Pikachu!"

Before being able to realise what was going on, a small, you assumed Pokémon, jumped onto your face, basically smacking it.

Soon another Pokémon, slightly bigger and heavier, also landed on your face as you landed on the floor.

"...Ouch." Was all you said.

"A-Are you okay?!" Someone panicked, followed by Mairins voice.

You couldn't see anything until the two Pokémon finally got off your face.

"I'm really really sorry! Dedenne got scared and ran off!" A blonde girl, looking Mairins age, apologised.

"No problem" you said simply as you sat up.

"Are you sure?" Another girl, this one looked more your age, just as the other two guys with them did, said concerned.

"Yeah really it's nothing, don't sweat it" you said reassuring.

"Here, let me help you" the boy with black hair wearing a red and white cap said, offering you to take his hand.

You took his hand as he pulled you up, "Thanks", the girl wearing the red hat blushed madly at it.

...

The crew invited you and Mairin to eat with them as an apology.

In your point of view, they were exaggerating a little, i mean, it were only two small Pokémon who jumped on your face.

But well, if you get the chance of free food you won't refuse.

"We haven't introduced ourselves, my name is Clemont and this is my little sister Bonnie" the guy with the glaces said, then pointed on the younger blonde girl who apparently was his sister.

"I'm Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town", The one who helped you up before said, giving you a cheerful smile, "And this is my buddy Pikachu".

"Hi I'm Serena, nice to meet you" The shy-sounding girl said softly.

"My name is Mairin!" Your travel companion cheered.

"I'm Y/N, nice to meet you too" you smiled, more like smiled at Ash personally, a certain person eyeing the situation.

"Thanks for inviting us to eat with you" you said after Clemont put the different meals on the table.
