Ashoka is alone in her room, Rex is away on a mission.

She sighed as she sat on her bed, she wondered what he was doing now. She worried about him, she never liked it when he was away this long. She looked at the commlink beside her bed. She hesitated a moment, but grabbed it, and switched to his channel.

"Captain Rex here." He answered. Ashoka let out a breath of relief, happy to hear his voice again.

"Hey there Rexter." She whispered.

"Ashoka? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just wanted to talk to someone. Your not busy are you?"

"No. Not at all. Just supposed to be sleeping, not like i could do that anyways."

"Something wrong?"

"Eh, not really. Just...stress." 

"Oh, i'm sorry. Wish i could be there to hug all that stress away."

"Honestly, just hearing your voice is melting away a bit of that stress."

"I'm glad." 

"Crap. Gotta go Littl'un."

"Stay safe...please."

"Promise."

"Bye."

"Captain Rex, out."

*************************Rex is alone in his room after a long day of training. Ashoka is on a special mission with Anakin********

He walked into his room, fresh out of the shower, only wearing a towel around his waist. He looked on his bedside table, he saw his commlink. He hesitated a moment, but grabbed it, switched channels to find hers.

"Ashoka Tano here."

"Hey kid." He said with a smile, happy to hear her voice.

"Rexter! You called at the perfect time!"

"Oh? And how's that?"

"Anakin just left to go and see Padme, said it was 'Important business'" She used a terrible voice for Anakin.

"Ha, right. Important business. So, how are you?"

"Fine. Just a bit tired, Anakin's been running me like a dog here."

"That sucks, but i know how that feels."

"Yeah, i know you do." 

"Is it wrong i miss you?"

"No, because i miss you too."

"When do you come home?"

"A couple days yet."

"Damn. I don't think i can wait that long to see my best friend."

"Same here. But we can talk for a while yet."

"Good, 'cause i'm lonely here without you."

"Ha! Right, you have Fives, Echo, Hardcase, Cody and everyone else there to have parties with!"

"Nah, no fun without you."

"Oh, Rex. Such a flirt."

"Ha ha, very funny."

"Rex, your the light of my life! I can't live without you baby!" She giggled.

"Oh shut up. Your such a bully."

"You know i'm just kiddin'." 

"Yeah, but words hurt, don't get my wittle hopes up then crush 'em!"
