Caitlin's Point of View
Barry seemed very preoccupied throughout the day, I'm sure he was finding everything hard to process. I think Cisco noticed it too, as he offered to give me a lift home to give him a break. I could tell that Barry wasn't completely comfortable with leaving me but he also understands that Cisco cares about me a lot as well. We're a team. We all have each other's backs.
Harrison and I think we've found a new way Barry can improve his speed. We didn't want to use any drugs or medication just yet because we wanted it all done safely. We've made a new diet plan, exercise regime and if Cisco has time we'll see if he can adjust the suit. Just as we begin to start looking at formulas incase this doesn't work, Barry walks in.
I still can't help the feeling I get when I see him, he makes me so happy. He looks exhausted, I just want him to sleep and come back the cheeky Barry I've known for years. I stop for a minute just to admire him, his presence as he leans against the door frame. His hair was all messy and falling over his forehead. I can't believe it's taken us so long to realised that we had feelings for each other, even though it hasn't been that long, I can't imagine looking at him and feeling nothing.
"Hey, do you mind if I speak to Caitlin for a minute?" He asks looking at Harrison. Harrison just nods but doesn't leave, until he realises we're both looking at him expecting him to give us some space.
"Be quick." He mumbles as he walks out. I look up to Barry wondering what he has to speak to me about.
"I'm going to go home for a bit, if you need me please call me, I think I should probably talk to Joe and Iris about us. I think she deserves to know, I know she always wanted me to find someone, someone like you actually," he pauses for a minute as he just looks in my eyes smiling a little, "but I still would rather her hear about us from me anyway given that we have kind of a history? If you're not ready for her to know yet, that's okay as well. You're who's important to me, so this is your call." He says slowly drawing circles on my hand with his thumb without realising.
"Yeah I'm fine with that. Take your time, you should probably sleep once you're done talking to them. You look so tired and you haven't had a proper sleep in a while." I say, worrying about him. He smiles at kisses me slowly. I get butterflies and kiss him back. It really feels like we were just meant to be together. He walks away, smiling. When he reaches the door I call out to him once more, "Barry."
"Yeah?" He spins round, cooly.
"I love you." I smile.
"I love you too. See you soon."
