An Impractical Love Story (Sal x Murr)

Murrs POV
I know I've always been gay. But I promised myself I wouldn't do this, I promised myself that I wouldn't fall for one of my best friends. Little did I know that I've been breaking that promise for around 25 years , and that it just took me this long to figure it all out. My name is James S Murray but everyone calls me Murr. I've always been gay but my only friends that know this are Joe and Q. Luckily, they're totally cool with it and have been for 12 years. The only person I've avoided telling my sexuality to is my best friend Sal. And you may be wondering, if he's your best friend shouldn't he have known first? Well yes except I've avoided this conversation with Sal because he's the person in in love with. He's the one I broke my promise to about being gay 25 years ago. Joe and Q know about my feeling towards Sal and are the only people that know about my feelings towards Sal. They tell me all the time I should just tell him how  I feel about him but I don't know. But I know for sure that tonight I'm telling my parents about me and how I feel about Sal. Let's hope this goes well.

At Dinner:
'Mom, dad I have to tell you something.'

'Yes what is it James?' His mother said

'It's been a long time that I have wanted to tell you guys this..'

'How long?' Mr Murray questioned

'25 years...'

'What!?' His parents said in sync

'Yes yes I know but it's really important and I feel like you guys should've known since the beginning but I know I've waited long enough. So here it goes. I'm gay. And I really like this one guy and I've always known I was gay but'

He gets cut off by his parents in rage.

'WHAT!? SO FIRST YOU TELL US YOURE GAY AND THAT YOUVE BEEN KEEPING IT FROM US FOR 25 YEARS! YOU KNOW OUR RELIGION AND HOW THATS UNACCEPTABLE! YOURE A DISGRACE AND DISAPPOINTMENT TO OUR FAMILY, CHURCH AND RELIGION! LEAVE THIS HOUSE YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE!'

'Dad! How could you say that to me!? I'm your son and pure supposed to support me and be there for me! Mom why aren't you saying anything!?'

'Because I agree wth your father. It's against our religion and how we live. So if you could please leave that'd be nice.'

'Mom! What the fuck! You know what fine fine I'll leave and I'll never come back! Bye!'

On The Street:
Murrs running and running and decides to go to Joes house and tell him everything that happened.

At Joes House:
Murr runs in crying histarically

'Joe! Joe!' Murr says crying

'Omg Murr! What happened!? Who did this to you!?' A familiar voice said that was not Joe and it did t sound like Q..

'S-Sal? W-what are you d-doing here?'

'He's been here for hours just hanging out talking about the show. But buddy what happened to you!?'Joe said.

'My parents. They kicked me out and and,'
Murr couldn't finish off because he was crying so much for the words to come out.

Sal comes up and hugs Murr

'It's ok Murr, I'm here for you and so are Joe and Q. Stay at my place, please. I need to know that you're safe and in good hands. We can talk about the situation at my house and what happened with your parents if you want. Don't even worry about going back to your house to get you're things, you can use mine. We can go to the store and I'll buy you a toothbrush and things like that. Please just come to my house. Please.'

'Yeah. I'll come home with you. Thank you so much Sal. I don't know how to repay you.'

'Don't worry about it. And no need to repay me. Let's go to the store and buy you some things you'll need and head to my place.'

'Ok.'

'Bye guys. I'll see you soon.' Joe said.

'Bye Joe.'

'Bye Joe.'

Suddenly Sal wraps his arm around James and all Murrs problems seem to go away. He feels safe. Loved. Happy.
