Part. 46 -Christmas Time-

"Shaking hands with the dark parts of my thoughts." Twenty One Pilots.

I stared at the racks in front of me, not being able to focus.

I don't know what I want.

I don't know what I want to get.

I don't know what I need to get.

My brain was clouded by Alex's words these past two days and it hasn't even let me think straight.

"Why is this so stressful?" I whispered as I racked my hand through my hair.

It isn't difficult, you're just making it complicated for yourself.

Ignore it Cassandra, it doesn't mean anything, you're being over dramatic.

I left that store with guilt on my face.

I dialed Rileys phone number and tucked my hand in my jacket.

"Who's dying?" She questioned.

"Me. I still haven't bought anything." I sighed.

"I can't tell you what to buy, just get something from the- Oh hey Hayden! I got Cassandra on the phone-"

"Wait! No! What are you doing-" I hissed.

"It's not him stupid. I'm just messing with you. He's out with Julian."

"Oh oh By the way, I bought something for Julian but I don't know if he will like it. Here let me send you a picture of it."

My phone buzzed and I opened up the picture, seeing a sketch book with a pack of color pencils and water colors. I instantly knew this was more than just a simple gift, this is a gift from the heart. Julian secretly loved drawing but he never made an effort to keep on drawing, and I know for sure he's going to love this gift.

"He's going to love it so much." I smiled.

"You think so?"

"For sure..." I said weary. What's going on between these two?

"If you're going to buy something to Hayden just make sure it isn't anything that is superficial, just something from the heart okay?"

I rolled my eyes and agreed.

"I'll talk to you later."

I hung up the phone and gripped my head once again.

I hate this.

This is going to take forever.

I walked through the mall seeing all different types of people crowded the place, talking to their friends while they shopped for Christmas items. I smiled slightly seeing the small children playing with their siblings and having fun.

The Christmas spirit.

I passed an instrument store before I jolted to a stop and took a step back.

A guitar.

That's it!

I speed walked into the store and walked over to all of the guitars in the store, all of them on stands and pedestals. My eyes landed on a black acoustic guitar and I immediately knew it was meant for him.

This is all him.

All for my baby boy am I right?

Hope you guys liked the update though.
