It had been a few days since the wedding but well all still needed our time to wind down after such a momentous occasion. Adam had just got back from work and was utterly and completely drained.
He sat on the couch and wouldn't move in almost an hour. Sarah was in her room, most likely working on something with the laptop. I haven't seen her all day, so I went to go check on her.
Her long fingernails busily clacked away on the keyboard, typing unidentifiable words. "What are you doing?" I questioned. She looke dup and stopped typing. "Um... fanfic." I raised my chin a bit, "Care if I look?" She slid away from the computer and faced it towards me.
I read the digitaized letters in my head. My eyes dragged across the screen, taking in each pixel.
"You've got a knack for fluff." I told her, she looked at me surprised. "How do you know what that is?" She asked. I titled my head akin to a dog, "I was a teenager once too, y'know."
She nodded. And turned the computer back to herself and continued typing.
I made my way out of the room and back to the couch, where Adam had lied down.
He stretched across the couch, one arm hanging off. I sat on top of him, and he shifted beneath me. I managed to wedge my butt between his back and the couch and pushed him off with booty power.
He fell on he floor and looked up at me, a face that read 'I hate you' covering his. I laughed it off, causing him to sprawl on the floor and chuckle. I folded my legs under myself and pulled him up. He pushed me off in return and I turned to him and eyed him challenginly.
It eventually turned into a wrestling match, surprisingly I was winning. Sarah found me pinning Adam's arms to the ground. Her eyes widened and she spun on the ball of her foot and turned away, mumbling something.
We burst into laughter, naturally.
Adam ran into her room, face red with laughter.
She seemed unnerved when I got it but I can tell what she thought we were doing. "We weren't." I said informingly. She looked up, "Your red, sweaty face tells otherwise."
"I swear we were wrestling." I told her. She rolled her eyes, "Right..." she said, mumbling.
I turned and walked out. Ty waited on the couch. He gave me a look that said 'let me guess' but his postion said hug tackle, so I naturally did the latter.
"I'm tired." Ty said after our intense hug, his eyes heavy with fatigue. I patted my shoulder, "Pillow." I told him as I smiled. He laid his head down on my shoulder and I reached my neck behind his and did the same.
He mumbled soft snores into my shirt and we laid back and fell asleep.
What a way to wind down.
