Two Is Better Than One

~* Adam's Memory Of The Past ~*

" Ri!" Adam caught her hand and pulled her to his chest.

" what wrong..I am sorry" he whispered in her ears. He knew her little motion had captured the attention of the cafeteria and they were watching.

" Ri come on talk to me or I 'll be silent but just don't walk out on me" he kissed her top of her head.

Ria pulled away. It was the first time Adam had seen her face so sad and hurt. Tears ran down her face and Ria's russet skin dissolved to a paleness, a coldness that Adam never wanted to see again.

" I can't do this anymore A," the tears increased their speed

" can't do what?!" he step away just to stare at her eyes.

Ria's eyes were Adam route to her heart. When he glared at them he hated what he saw.

Adam step closer. What had made her so hurt and scared.

" Ri?!"

" it's over Adam Hale" she wiped her eyes and pulled her hair behind her ears.

" what?!" Adam let out a fake laugh." your joking right Ria!!"

This whole scene was unbelievable and Adam couldn't help but laugh.

" no... I don't want an us anymore k..it's over. We are over. " she ran out of the cafeteria.

Adam felt his lungs constrict and suddenly he couldn't breathe. He fought for breath but his trachea felt like it had shut down. His knees buckle before he knew it he was on the ground. Adam's face became pale, all the blood drained from his face. Was this for real? Did he really hear the words over" and no "us anymore". He wasn't sure and didn't want to believe that his dream was short-lived and that Ria was walking out of his life.

"no us was that even possible" he thought aloud in a small whisper.

"There is only one way to find out" Jamie whispered to him. Go find her"

Adam hadn't realised that all his friends had form a circle around him. They were blocking him from the watchful eyes that in due time would be judgemental.

A weak smile found his face, one that gave him the strength to go after Ria.

" thanks" he stood, fighting the urge to fall back to the ground.

Adam couldn't imagine losing Ria ..not if he had something to say or do about it.

He would "say" and "do" unto his death just to prove that he loved Ria.

Adam grabbed Lenny's shirt and backed him up against a wall. Lenny as usual was taking his own sweet time to get to what seemed like the cafeteria. Lunchtime was far from over. Adam felt anger consume him and all he wanted to do was beat the carefree attitude out of Lenny. He wanted his face to go pale and cold like Ria's. His mindlessness made Adam sick.

With the absence of words..he pinned Lenny down restricting his urge to move. Adam had lost it and all he wanted to do was bash Lennys head into the wall. A set of tears streamed down Lenny's face. Giving Adam more reason to put his ass out of misery.

" please Adam...don't" Lenny squirmed. " please not the face"

" shut up!! I am losing my girlfriend and you care about your wretched face!!" Adam spat out.

"Adam you can stop now" an unfamiliar voice tried to calm him." please I think you've done enough"

Adam refused to let Lenny go without fulfilling his aim.
