Unpretty. Not really a word but a word to describe most people feeling. Have you ever felt that way? Growing up feeling like you're not pretty enough, you're not worthy enough, or you're just not... enough?

Nine times out of ten there are young ladies that feel that way. I've felt that way since I was thirteen, but I've been trying to learn how to love myself. It's a learning process and I'm trying my best to get to know myself all over again.

"Zo all up in lala land, don't even know what's going on." Averi snapped her fingers in front of me which knocked me out of my thoughts.

I blinked at looked at her. She looked at me weirdly before going back to talk to Deia who glanced at me from the small couch in my bedroom. I crossed my legs Indian style and pushed my thoughts to the back of my head.

"See the thing is, dudes think it's cute to have hoes or to play a girl. Like what gives you the rights to mess with me while you're messing with another girl? I just don't understand them and why they cheat." Averi ranted while pacing back and forth.

"Aves, I thought you were single." Deia responded back to her rant.

"Oh, I am. That's just something that came up in my head."

"Well, see they think they have the power over certain girls. If they figure out you're one of the weak girls they'll definitely play you and watch you cry over them,"

"Let me just break it down to you. Every guy is different. Not every guy have the same mindset, majority of the time. They could have a good girl that does everything right and do everything they want them to do, but that's never enough for them,"

"They'll cheat because they feel like they have that power to, basically. I'm telling you they'll cheat on a good girl and wonder why she has trust issues, man. They'll let that one night fuck up everything they had. Any man that still cheats isn't a man. He's a little boy that needs to know that, that shit is played out." Deia wrap her arms around her left leg and placed her head on her knee.

I started paying attention to their conversation since they were talking about something that I was engaged in now. A relationship. Especially since this is my very first relationship.

"You ever got cheated on?" Averi asked, looking over at her.

"Yeah."

"Javeer?" I asked with raised eyebrows and she quickly shook her head.

"No. It was my first boyfriend from freshman year of high school. We were together for like six months then he end up cheating with one of my best friends. She thought I was about to fight her over him but it wasn't even worth it. That's another thing, don't ever in your life fight over a guy."
