A/N: Part 3

"Perhaps the worst is that I ever let you go. I should not ever let you go, oh oh oh"

--

Months have already passed and I still don't know how to win back Kisses. Marco's been there for her almost everywhere that I wanted to punch him hard straight in the face.

I was walking on the corridor to go to my next class but Mrs. Gonzales told me to go to the principal's office. My forehead creased because why am I being called at principal's office?

I didn't had a choice but to go to there. So, when I opened the door my jaw dropped because I saw them there. When I said them, it's Kisses, Marco, Maymay, Yong, Christian and Vivoree.

"Oh, he's already here." Principal Spencer said. "Come, Edward, come. You may sit beside Kisses." I did what Principal said. "So, as I was saying.."

And my mind got pre-occupied. Principal said that we were chosen to compete to be a part of the the school's dream team. To be a part of dream team has too many responsibilities.

"Omg! I'm so excited!" Vivoree exclaimed.

"Calm down, Vivoree." Principal chuckled. "For your first task, you must know each other first."

I sighed. Knowing the first task isn't easy. Marco and I used to be bestfriend. Maymay and Kisses used to be the best of friends. Christian and Vivoree had past. Yong and Maymay had fights before.

"Seriously, principal?" Marco asked sarcastically.

"Yes, Marco." Principal said. "As far as you know, I know all of you had personal issues. Try to settle it now."

We tried to smile. Principal said that we can use the dream team's headquarters for the mean time. All of us went there and walked silently. Damn, this is too awkward!

--

As we sat on the couch, I saw how Marco tried to approach me but he doesn't know how to. I don't want to do first move, either.

"Can we talk?" He asked.

I stood up and followed him. We sat on the veranda and looked away.

"What happened?" He asked.

"What?"

"Why our friendship turned to dust?"

I bitterly chuckled. "I should be the one to asked that, Marco."

He smiled weakly. "I know. It's my fault."

"I never said that it was your fault." I said. "Both of us were wrong."

He sighed. "If I can turned back time.."

"But you can't." I smiled. "You know what? Heaven's my best bud. I didn't know you love her."

"It sucks to be inlove with someone whose inlove with someone else." He chuckled.

"Heaven wasn't inlove with me. She was inlove with Paulo."

"I know. She explained it to me. But I didn't had the courage to talk to you. I mean, after the punches I gave to you." He chuckled again. "I'm disappointed at myself, I gave up our friendship for a girl."

I tapped his shoulder. "Don't. It taught us a lesson and made us who we are now."

He smiled. "To clear something, Kisses and I are just friends."

"What are you saying?"

"Man, If looks could kill? I may be ten feet on the ground now." He laughs.

I punched him on his shoulder. "Shut up."

"If you want to win her back, I'm willing to help you."

"Thanks, man."

--

The next day, I didn't taught that this idea won't turned out so well.

"What do you need?!"

"What? I was just going to sit." I defended myself.

"Don't sit here!"

"Where do you want me to sit, then?"

"On the floor!"

"Seriously, Kisses?!"

She just rolled her eyes on me. Dang! Even if I love this girl, she's being a hardheaded.

"Then, look for another chair!"

"Why won't you let me sit here?"

"Because, I don't want you near me."

I was taken a back at what she said. Am I being so emotional? No, my ego just broke. Literally! Damn, this girl.

--

I was on the field when Marco called me and said Mrs. Gonazales called me to report to her. But it turned out to be a set up.

"Open this door, Marco!" I shouted.

"Vive! Ano ba? Buksan niyo 'to!"

Yes, you read it right. I'm with someone.

"No, you two should talk!" Vive countered to what Kisses said.

"Man, remember I'm helping you!" Marco shouted and I think they're gone.

"Now, what?" Kisses asked me.

I shrugged. "Maybe they were right?"

"Right about what?"

"We should talk."

"We're done."

"Not until you say so."

"Then, we're done."

"Nope."

"Edward?!"

"What?"

"I'm serious!"

"I'm serious too." She just groaned and I laughed. "Come on, let's talk."

"Fine."

We sat on the couch. "What happened between us?"

"I was the one supposed to ask that, right?" She countered.

"No. I should be the one to ask that." I said.

"What?"

"You were drifting away, Kisses. Why?" I asked.

"I am not."

"You were." I said. "You always wants me to get mad. Why?"

She sighed. "Because, you're inlove with her."

"I am not."

"You were."

"You're right." She looked down. "I was inloved with her. But I am inlove with you. You see the difference?"

She looked at me. "She was my past. You are my present and hoping to be my future."

"I told her I love her, yes. But as a bestfriend. I am inlove with you Kirsten."

A tear fell in her eye. I wiped it. Damn, I can't let my girl cry infront of me.

"I'm sorry." She said and cried.

"Hey! It wasn't your fault!" I said and hugged her.

"But you broke up with me because of what I did."

"I broke up with you because I love you that I can't let myself see you changing." I said. "I broke up with you but that doesn't mean I am not inlove with you anymore. No, my life is invalid without you."

She cried and hugged me. "Kirsten, remember this. Arayt?" She just nodded. "I won't go home without you."
