it's like a basic love story, girl meets boy, boy meets girl. But, add in a killer brother, another Lakewood Slasher, and a mute mom we could say this isn't like your average romance novel.

Just when I thought everything was slowly going back to normal, Emma said she supposedly saw someone in the Brandon James' mask and they had pictures of her in some abandoned house. Brooke and I think it's just her hallucinating since she's constantly hallucinating, but she believes that what she saw was real.
"Brooke, you were there last night. Can't you back Emma up on what she saw?" Kieran asks Brooke.
"I didn't really see anything." Brooke replies with a small shrug. Brooke, Emma, Kieran and I all walk to her locker.
"Brooke, what? It's nothing that I haven't already thought." Emma crosses her arms and waits for a reply.
"Look, you were not making any sense when you came out of that house last night, Emma. I'm sorry. It was weird. I was worried."
"Brooke—" Kieran starts but gets cut off by Emma
"Hey, it's okay. We all have to be honest. It's the only way we're gonna move past this thing."
"Look, Em. We love you, but.." I sigh "you've seen things before. Will, your dad."
"Well, given all of the insanity we've been through, it's not so crazy. Right?" Brooke sighs and closes her locker.
"So, you both think it's a hallucination. I get it." She nods and smiles, walking off. Kieran, Brooke and I give each other a look and Brooke rushes to Emma's side, leaving Kieran and I to walk together.
"So, I've been told by a little birdie that you and Stavo kissed?" Kieran bumps my hip with his.
"Yeah, but it was nothing. I was having a mini panic attack, he read online that it helps if they hold their breath or something and I guess I held my breath." I shrug likes it's no big deal, which it wasn't a big deal at all, but it was a nice little kiss.
Stavo walks by us with a smile on his face as he looks at me. Kieran notices this and makes kiss faces to Stavo and kissing noises. I roll my eyes at his childish behaviour and smack the back of his head.
"Kier!" I laugh at him as I feel my cheeks grow red. Eventually, we catch up with Brooke and Emma who were talking to each other in the middle of the hallway.
"What up, my Lakewood Seveners! Though, technically, there are only six of us at the moment." Noah greets as he notices Jake still not in school.
"Look, I know Jake has probably been spilling trash about me since we broke up, and you can just tell me about it." Brooke informs.
I haven't heard from him since that day they broke up, when he called to tell me he regrets it and he loves her.
Emma, Brooke, Noah and I all look at each other and we shake our head.
"What? No one's talked to him since we broke up?" Brooke wonders.
"Probably part of his bold plan to make you suffer." Audrey shrugs and we agree with her.
