Tabitha's POV

Since Tuesday when Jackie went to Roberson it has been rather boring. She said she would be extending her stay but I forgot to ask by how long..

It was Friday, I haven't heard from her and she's not answering her phone either. Like she's off the grid.

"When's Jackie getting back?" Zac pouted walking into the school beside me and Kain.

"No idea, has she answered any of your calls?" I asked frowning slightly, she always has her phone with her... Because she was addicted to that stupid game.

"Nope," Kain frowned with me.

"Hey mr Taylor!" I called as we turned down a hallway heading to our first class.

"Oh hey guys," he smiled.

"Have you heard anything from Jackie?" I asked and he gave me a confused look.

"She went to Roberson for car shopping," Kain elaborated.

"Um no," he said slightly distanced.

"What's wrong?" Zac asked noticing his attitude.

"Nothing, its just Roberson is snowed in, the stores are closed," He shrugged.

"She must of gotten stuck there," Kain shrugged.

"Probably," Zac agreed.

"Well you guys get to class," Toby smile as the bell went and I pushed my brother along.

"Bye Kain," Zac called over his shoulder.

"Bye Zachy," he chimed pushing a door open to his classroom.

"Hey guys no Jackie again?" Kelly asked as we sat down at the back row.

"Nope, she hasn't even called the school yet," I sighed running a frustrated hand through my blonde curls.

"That's weird," Kelly mumbled.

"Toby did say Roberson was snowed in," Zac shrugged.

"Roberson? Snowed in?" Kelly frowned.

"What?" I questioned.

"Roberson isn't snowed in, yeah sure they have a light snow but its not snowed in," she said shaking her head.

"So Toby lied?" Zac asked.

"Maybe, or he just thought it was snowed in," she shrugged.

"Well isn't she suppose to be meeting her dad today?" Zac said turning to me.

"Yeah, for lunch," I remembered.

"Class sorry I'm late," the teacher smiled walking in.

Hopefully she'd show up at her dads lunch date...

**

"Is Jordan coming for lunch?" I asked Britty as the bell went for the start of lunch and I packed my design book away.

"Yeah, he said his bringing his friend, Connor," she smiled walking out of the class next to me.

"Oh I've met Connor," Chloe said.

"Same at the ice cream place were you made me carry all your bags," Zac pouted.

"I brought you ice cream," she grinned.

"When did you guys go on a date?" I asked raising an eyebrow at the two.

"It wasn't a date, Jackie, Scott and Blake went as well, I needed new clothes and Jackie had to get her bike part," chloe smiled.

"And when was this?" Britty asked slightly confused.

"When you guys were having a fight," Zac mumbled scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

My mouth formed and 'o' and I nodded leaving the topic. "What are you guys eating?"

"Jordan's bringing me take out," Britty answered.

"I have packed lunch," Chloe smiled.

"I'm going to go bribe so girl to buy me lunch," Zac smirked.

"You have money though," I said raising an eyebrow at him.

"I'm not using their money," he grumbled.

"Get a job than," I shrugged.

"I want one, but whenever I saw my last name they always give me the highest position available, and I don't want that," he said shaking his head.

"At least they'll hire you, rumours about me and father have already gotten to the ears of all the adults," I spat.

"He'll come around," Zac smiled lightly.

"I doubt it, you just don't bounce back from going to court to get me put in foster care," I snapped.

My family was messed up, to the max, a few years ago just after Leo accident my parents had thought I had pushed him into the train. My dad was so disgusted in me that he tried to have me put up for adoption, I spent ten days in an orphanage, until I broke out with the help of my best friend Haley, she and her mum let me stay at their home for the rest of the holidays.

My mum, even though she was disgusted in me too, had persuaded my father to not legally disown me, apparently Zac had said something too.

So they shipped me off to Jai boarding school so they didn't have to see me, unfortunately I would have to go home at the end of the year.. I wasn't looking forward to it.

"Well you won't be looking forward to the break than, mums bringing us back for the three weeks. She wants you there too," he said scratching the back of his neck.

"I'm not going, unless I get a call I'll be staying in Jai," I said shaking my head at him and standing in line for food.

"She also threatened to cut off your credit card if you said something like that," he winced and I glared at the floor.

"Tell her she can get fucked," I spat.

"No swearing sissy," Zac tsked.

"No calling me sissy," I tsked back.

"I'm still sorry about all the shit I put you through too, dad may of gotten to my head," he apologised.

"It's okay," I shrugged.

And it really was.

**

"Hey guys," I smiled as I reached the table my lunch in hand.

"Hey Tabs," Jesse, Scott and Blake greeted in unison.

"Never do that, it was creepy," I pointed out.

"Tabby this is Connor, Connor, Tabby," Britty introduced and I smiled at the dirty blonde.

"Hey," I waved sitting next to Chloe.

"Hey Tabby have you heard from Jackie yet?" Jesse asked concern in his voice.

"Nah, but she does have lunch planed with her dad, but other than that she must be in Roberson," I shrugged.

"Jackie? Roberson? She's not at Roberson," Connor blinked and everyone turned to him.

"Yeah she is been there since Tuesday," Blake said eyeing him.

"Well she's not there, she's in the hospital, I asked one of the nurses, she had surgery but should be out today," he said matter of factly.

"Why is she at the hospital?" Scott asked frowning slightly.

"Not sure, she's been in a induced coma to heal," he said nodding slightly as he thought over it.

"So why did she say she was in Roberson?" Chloe questioned.

"Don't know but I did see her brother visit so I thought she'd at least tell you."

"Jackie doesn't have a brother.." I trailed off.

"He looked to be in his twenties, same colour hair and eyes, she needed a blood transplant," he explained.

I processed the information in my head, brother, she doesn't have one.. I glanced at the parking lot, Toby.

"Mr Taylor," I yelled at him as I saw him unlock his car.

He raised an questionable eyebrow before sighing locking his car again and walking over.

"Yes?" He asked running a hand through his hair.

"Yeah that guy," Connor whispered not too quietly.

"What about me?" He questioned.

"Are you Jackie's brother?" Jesse blurted out.

"Uh.. I'm really late for a lunch date, I have too go," he rushed off to his car unlocking it and climbing in.

"And why didn't Jackie tell us they were related?" Chloe asked the obvious question.

"Did she know?" I frowned.

"Lets wait until she gets back from her lunch date," Britty said with a half hearted smiled.

Jackie POV

I walked into the coffee shop, the smell of coco beans filled my lungs and I smiled, I felt much better even though there was now stitches at the front and back of my torso.

I had brung my kidney surgery papers as well and after I had my dad sign them I would nicely ask him why the hell didn't he tell me I had a brother.

"Jackie," he smiled hugging me as I walked over to his table.

"Hey dad, what's up?" I asked.

"Well I got a call from the hospital saying that you went in for emergency surgery," he said raising an eyebrow at me.

"Your point?"

"Why didn't you tell me?" He grumbled.

"Didn't need too," I shrugged.

"You did," he said crossing his arms.

Ah screw the waiting.

"Like you didn't need to tell me I had a brother?" I asked innocently an his face paled.

"How did you find out?" He questioned.

"The hospital," I said sourly.

"I'm sorry Jackie me and your mother-" he started.

"Egg donator," I corrected.

"We were going to tell you but we didn't know how," he sighed.

"Maybe something like, hi Jackie you have a twenty year old brother that we didn't tell you about," I said sarcastically.

"It's not that easy," he said shaking his head.

"It is," I grounded out standing up and slapping the paperwork he need to sign.

"What's this?"

"Doesn't matter just sign it," I said pointing to the spot.

"Fine," he sighed and once he had signed it I was out of the shop and back to my waiting ride.

"You okay?" Toby asked as I got into his blue truck, I had left my dads keys back on his table.

Lets just say I didn't plan on talking to him for a while...

"I'm fine," I smiled and he pulled out of the parking lot and drove towards the school.

"Uh, by the way, your friends might know that were related," he said scratching his neck as he drove with one hand.

"Great," I groaned.

"And I don't think that Roberson was a good excuse," he pointed out.

"First thing that came to mind," I shrugged.

"Why didn't you tell them you went to the hospital?" He asked.

"I don't like people worrying about me," I grumbled.

"If I hadn't been there to give you blood the doctor say you would of died," he sighed and we pulled into the parking lot.

"But you were and I didn't," I smiled looking over to the table, yeah from the looks of it they were waiting for me...

"Good luck," Toby smiled.

"Their going to kill me," I groaned slowly getting out.

Toby joined my side and we walked slowly through the carpark.

"Jackie you know it's illegal to date a teacher," Kate snapped and she walked up with Jake behind her. Didn't the guy have a life?

"Yeah, that's why I'm not," I shrugged trying to push past her.

"You could cost mr Taylor his job," she spat.

"Kate, Jake meet my brother Toby Taylor, now will you get lost," I said sickly sweetly.

"Your brother?" Jake questioned eyeing Toby.

"Yeah, what were you jealous? Did I say sorry for dumping your bad kissing ass? If I did than I really didn't mean it," I smiled at Jake.

"No thanks to you, the chic I was with spread dirt all over town about me," he spat.

"I didn't know she spread you over town, that must of hurt your ego," I smirked.

"Your a bitch," he growled taking a step towards me.

"Back off wanker that's my little sis your calling that," Toby said defensively stepping in front of me.

"Piss off Taylor," he snapped and they started a stare down.

"Oh for fucks sake," I growled pushing Toby out of the way and kneeing Jake straight in his family jewels.

"Bitch," he spat out at me as I walked away Toby following me.

"Shouldn't, you know, tell me of for doing that?" I asked Toby.

"His not a student, I would of done worse," he grinned.

I frowned as he started walking towards the school entrance away from my table. "Do you have to leave me now?"

"Yeah, sorry Jackie but I have to eat in the staff room," he chuckled rolling his eyes at me.

I walked even slower to the table, I felt their eyes on me so I just looked at my shoes, I needed a new pair of converses. Maybe I'll get an orange pair this time? Or red? Or even purple? Ah who am I kidding I hate purple. Maybe I'll go for green? Pinks out of the question, I should just-

"So how was Roberson?" Tabby asked sarcastically and I winced.

"Ah.. Guess you heard," I mumbled finally meeting the groups eyes. Don't fold. Keep eye contact.

"Yeah, from Connor," Britty grumbled crossing her arms across her chest.

"Shit," I cursed, I knew how that felt.

"Yeah shit, why were you in hospital?" Blake asked.

"Internal bleeding in my lungs," I mumbled, keep eye contact, don't fold.

"And why didn't you tell us?" Scott questioned.

"It was meant to be a check up, I didn't plan on having surgery," I shrugged.

"And why didn't you tell us about the check up?" Tabby snapped.

"Did I have too? So I had a bit of a sore chest, I didn't think it was that bad," I defended.

"No, if it was just a sore chest you would of told us, what actually happened? And the truth," Chloe pointed out.

"I was coughing up blood and couldn't breath," I snapped, this felt like an intervention and the last time the teachers at my old school had done one, it didn't end nicely.

"You need to tell us stuff," Zac snapped back.

"I seriously don't need this, I get that you care but this wasn't a thing to care about," I said shaking my head and turning to leave.

I walked into the school away from them, pulling out my phone I dialled a taxi and walked to the front of the school. I couldn't deal with life right now, and I had to start sorting out my transport and I guess now somewhere else to stay.

"Where too?" The driver asked as I stepped in.

"Could you stop by the dorms and then to the airport," I smiled at him and he nodded pulling out of the carpark.

In less than five minutes he had pulled into the parking lot of the dorms, "can you wait I'll pay extra," I bargained and he nodded.

I snuck past the receptionist and too Zac's dorm, unlocking it with my spare key I packed my stuff in my suitcase and rolled it out leaving the key on the table.

Sneaking past the reception again I walked back to the taxi, the guy popped the boot and got out to help with my suitcase.

"Thanks," I smiled as he lifted it into the trunk.

"No problem lady, but you realise that were getting followed," he said never losing his smiled.

"Where?" I asked getting into the taxi.

"Two motorbikes," he said as he got into the drivers seat.

I checked the mirrors and noticed the familiar bikes or Jesse and Blake. Great I pulled out my phone asking the taxi driver to wait.

Stop following me, it's creepy.

Were still at school..

Bullshit, the taxi guy noticed.

What are you doing than?

I'll be back calm down, I have to go bring someone back.

Be back from where?

Remma, I'm going for the weekend I'll be back before school.

Remma, another town? Why?

To get someone.

Jackie you can't just leave like that.

Too late, good bye boys.

"Go," I smiled at the driver and drove out of the parking lot.

"Their still following," he commented and I nodded.

"I'll lose them in the airport," I shrugged and he drove a little faster.

It took fifteen minutes to get there and we had lost the boys a few blocks back but I knew they were still following, "how much?"

"$24," he smiled as he pulled my bags out of his car.

"Keep the change," I smiled handing him a fifty and walking off with my suit case in hand.

Please tell me there's a flight for Remma soon..

I looked into the overhead tv showing the flight time and grinned when it said there would be a plane boarding in fifteen minutes. Perfect.

"Hello how may I help you?" The girl behind the front desk asked when it was my turn.

"Uh, one ticket to Remma, no return," I smiled.

"And your name?" She questioned.

"Put it under Damian Skye," I smiled sliding my credit card to her.

"Damian? Like one of our private captains?" She frowned and I nodded.

"Yeah my dad," I shrugged.

"Well your lucky theres only four seats left," she smiled again before making the purchase.

"Just line up over there and they'll collect your luggage," she explained and I nodded walking over to where she had pointed.

Ten minutes until boarding...

I was third place in line when I notice the boys walk in, I ducked behind a lady hiding from there view.

"Next please," the guys called and I hurried up to him giving him my ticket to scan and putting my luggage on the scales.

"Thank you," he said taking my luggage and wrapping the sticker around the handle.

I gave him another smiled as I slowly walked to my gate, five minutes till boarding...

"Jackie!" I heard my name called and I winced before dashing through the metal scanner and into the first airport store I saw.

"And you just have to walk into a fairy shop," I muttered to myself as everything was puffy and shiny.

"Plane 208, is now boarding for Remma, at gate 3," the speakers announced and I sighed before ducking my head out of the shop.

No boys.. Thank god.

I walked over to the gate showing the lady my ticket and boarding the plane.

How did I get so lucky? I smirked sitting down on the window seat, I had the whole row.

So I just had to wait an hour until the plane left, but I was safe considering you can't board a plane without a ticket.

Trust me I had tried, and I had kneed one of the security guards where the sun don't shine in my attempt, thankfully he had dropped the charges.

I pulled out my phone opening candy crush, shit this game was addicting...

"Is anyone sitting here?" Someone asked as I was in the middles of winning another level, actually I was losing but same thing....

I looked up and gulped at the two boys who were standing there with tickets in their hands, ah shit.

"Hi guys," I smiled innocently.
