Newts P.O.V

Tina was in the nursery with Queenie and Ella, Queenie was leaving back to New York tomorrow so she's been around Ella constantly.

I was in the kitchen reading the Daily Prophet, I flipped the page to find an article titled A New Scamander.

It was amusing to read seeing as they had little information about the event,

"Newt" I heard Tina call I looked up from the paper, "can you come here please?" She asked.

I stood up and walked to the nursery "yes?" I asked, Tina smiled "uh Queenie wants to go into town with me but I don't want to take Ella out in public yet would you be ok to watch her?" She asked

"Of course," I said grinning.

She handed me the sleeping newborn, Ella looked a lot like Tina she had little wisps of dark hair on her head, but her eyes were green like mine.

Queenie stood up "sorry I'm stealing your wife for a bit Newt," she said

I smiled "it's ok as long as you bring her back," I said

Queenie laughed "no promises," she said as she walked out, Tina shook her head and stood up "you'll be ok?" She asked

I nodded "of course,"

She smiled and kissed me "ok well I'll be back soon," she kissed Ella's forehead and walked out.

I sat down in the rocking chair Ella opened her eyes, most times she would open her eyes for a minute or two but this time she kept them open.

"Hello little Ella," I said

She reached up her tiny hand and somehow grabbed my pocket watch, ever since the Niffler passed away I was able to start wearing it again without worrying he would snatch it from me.

I tried to take it from her, but even though she was small she had a strong grip.

"You little Niffler," I said grinning as she closed her eyes.

She let go of my pocket watch I stood up about to put her in the crib when I heard someone behind me say "wow what a great father,"

I whipped around and saw the person I was so desperately hoping it wasn't,

"Leta what are you doing here!" I asked angrily, she smirked "my job, oh and don't do anything stupid I have ms goldstein in the kitchen."

"What!" Without thinking I brushed paced Leta and ran into the kitchen to find Queenie and Tina being held by two men.

"We can never seem to catch a break can we," Tina said annoyed.

"Don't hurt them," I said turning back to Leta. "What do you want?"

She yawned "oh it's not what I want, we'll sort of I want revenge, what I truly wanted was you but after seeing how low your standards are," she said as she pointed to Tina "I changed my mind,"

My blood was boiling "so this is just a petty act of yours?" I asked

She glared at me "like I said I'm doing this for someone else but it does give me revenge against her. Anyways after you stole Grindelwalds little obscures he needs a new one."

She eyed Ella "and I think if he just raised his own our plans would go so much smoother,"

I was shocked "if you think we're just going to hand over our baby your so wrong," I said

She got her wand out "I intend to get her anyways. Oh and please can we hurry this up Dumbledore has been following me" she said rolling her eyes.

I pulled my wand out, I couldn't exactly duel someone with one arm holding a baby, so I was at a huge disadvantage. "Dumbledore followed you?" I asked
