((Small notice: This will be written as if I had plans to place it into a novel to help create a visual for the readers!))

Small dirt twisters blew down the roads, abandoned cars broken down and collecting rust filled the streets. Nature was slowly claiming the once taken land back, vines grew up the buildings, trees blossomed peacefully in a non-human filled territory, flowers grew wild and untrimmed, birds sang peaceful songs to their small children up in their nests.

Peace.

That's how you could describe this small section of land. It was simply peaceful. Something that became rare nowadays. The dim sun rays made everything seem tranquil and mellow. Everything here could even be considered a new Garden of Eve.

But as with all things that is to be found in mother nature; the most beautiful are truly the most wicked.

It wasn't always like this.

This seemingly peaceful heaven was hell on earth.

Humans have destroyed one of the most natural laws, a law that mother nature herself would not let slip by.

The goal of it all had once been innocent. To stop and cure cancers worldwide. To finally rid the the illness from humans world wide. The request of this high ranked research was made top priority by some billionaire over in England. He demanded that every scientist and doctor research in some sort of miracle cure to save his dying wife and son. They died a few weeks anyway but researchers had been so close to a breakthrough that they continued while the man was in mourning. They learned that whatever the serum was that they had created could potentially rid humans of many other diseases instead of just cancer.

And again humanity got into their head that they could play gods again with their fancy machines..

It was disastrous.

They took the serum and tested it on animals first. Of course they'd never admit to it.

But it didn't have the reaction as everyone had planned..

The serum took only to predatory creatures at first, cats, snakes, birds, dogs. When they placed the serum into prey creatures; they'd die within minutes. Either they'd suddenly die from a heart attack, or they would harm themselves in any way and form until eventually they died inside their cages.

It was a horrifying discovery for many. Some even went as far to destroying their copies of the research and disappearing entirely.

But this was something else entirely for a certain two professors that were looked up to over in france. They had flown in to Japan just to watch the experimentations. It was by their influence that they started Human Testing.

Humans were considered an Apex-predator. Surely the serum would have an entirely different effect.

Well..

They were right.

And wrong.

9 out of 10 victims of this inhumane testing committed suicide or were forced to be put down. Or so they say.

The other 1 out of 10...

They changed. They weren't human, but they weren't really anything different. Each was different. One had their eyes change color and suddenly became very sensitive to lights, going as far to stabbing their eyes out with pens only for more animalistic eyes to take their place...

But mind you this is all legend. No one really believes in all of this.

Oh no, this was just an accident. A complete misunderstanding, a misunderstanding all the way up to mother nature herself.

Maybe things are better like this.

Who's to say it isn't?

It was one thing that always pissed me off about humans..

They really hated it when someone pulled the rug out from under their feet and sent them spiraling down into oblivion with no idea if they were going to survive the fall or not.

They really were a creature of habit.

I probably sound a bit harsh, I might be. After everything these humans have done, you wouldn't be surprised. At least I hope you wouldn't be.. But you're probably a human yourself.

If you are then.. Well. I've always been curious about something, I'm wondering if you can enlighten me..

If you had someone you loved taken away from you.. would you forget about your loved one in hopes of moving on?

Would you remember them as you hunted down their killer and avenge them?

Or...

A creature growled from under the growing shadows from under the tree as the sun continued it's never ending descent in the now orange sky.

"And this is why I hate humans..."

Would you finally wake up once they were gone and realize all of this shit was their fault?

((So. This obviously isn't the BEGINNING of this story, but... eh.. somewhere in between and somewhere where I spill more secrets than my close friends even know. So, that being said, would you want to read more of this story? Any sort of feedback helps! ^_^ Thank you for reading!))
