My eyes widen. "Me? I didn't do anything."
"But you did," Axel whispers. "You came crashing into our lives unexpectedly with your big green eyes and a camera in your hands, taking the breath right from my lungs and I'm sure my brothers would agree."
"I don't understand what's happening," I tell him truthfully. "I know I'm falling, I just don't know how it's all going to work out once I've fallen. And I'm petrified you're all going to leave me. I can't choose." The truth of my words hit me straight in the heart.
Axel frowns and shakes his head. "We don't expect you to choose, Sang." His eyes hold the truth behind his words. "The same relationship we had with Kayli, how it was when it was good, is something we could have. Me, my brothers, Mr Blackbourne and his brothers."
I shake my head. "But you are two different teams...families."
"And you're making us realise that two families can merge as one," Axel says quietly. His finger drops from my jaw and he takes my mug from my hand, gently placing them back on the tray before turning, folding his legs pretzel style and giving me his full attention. "Sang, we've always been friends with the Blackbourne team. We've worked along side them a few times before. Sure, Raven and North can have their differences but half of the time it's just each of them winding each other up. They haven't argued or gotten into one of their stupid typical fights for days. That never happens."
He goes on, not giving me a chance to say anything. "And Corey and Raven; you had your suspicions, Corey told me that Owen gave you a gentle nudge to ask Corey about it." I snort. No, he put me on the spot and in a way, I'm glad he did. I didn't want them hiding their relationship. "I've never seen them so open with each other before, sitting on the couch holding hands or having a quiet moment between the two of them with their heads bowed and whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears. You've accepted them without question."
"The heart wants what the heart wants," I murmur, smiling at the visual Axel just gave me of the pair.
"Exactly," Axel murmurs. "And our hearts want yours. What does yours want?"
The bathroom door opens and Mr Blackbourne steps out wearing a pair of grey pyjama pants and a white t-shirt. His grey eyes observe me, watching me, awaiting for my answer to the question Axel had just asked me. He'd been listening, probably not intentionally because we wasn't exactly being quiet and the bedroom door is wide open.
I lick my lips and look back to Axel. "My heart wants everything you're all willing to give me."
Axel smiles a full megawatt smile, taking my breath away. "I'm glad you said that, because we have so much to give."
"I agree with, Mr Toma." Mr Blackbourne says, striding into the room and taking a seat on the edge of my bed. "We have so much to give and you're the only one we want to give it too."
"So what do I do?" I whisper.
"Just let it happen," Axel answers. "Let Them, us, hold your hand, kiss your cheek and sit you in our laps. Everything will fall into place naturally, more so if it's something that's meant to be."
"And I believe it is, Miss Sorensen." I grin at Mr Blackbourne because deep down in my bones, I believe it to.
Axel sighs and gives Mr Blackbourne his attention. "Are you going to call your girlfriend 'Miss Sorenson' for the rest of your life? Stop being so freaking formal, Owen."
My eyes widen and cheeks heat. "Girlfriend?" I repeat, my voice a little squeak.
They ignore me as they stare each other down. "No," Mr Blackbourne replies. His grey eyes flicker in my direction and I watch as his shoulders sag. "Old habits die hard."
Axel laughs and shakes his head, looking back towards me. Smiling he says, "Just start calling him Owen for now on. He'll finally give in and kill that habit if his name is coming from your mouth."
For some reason I don't believe that, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to try.

After drinking our hot chocolates, Axel and...Owen get up from the bed and start for the attic door. The need to stop them and ask if I could stay with them too is so strong, so strong I find myself standing from my bed, the movement causing Axel and Owen to pause and look back at me.
"Can I stay with you?" I ask, my eyes wide as I await their answer. "I don't want to be alone."
Owen looks at Axel who nods his head. "Come on," Owen says, pulling open the attic door and crouching down before crawling inside.
Axel goes next and then I follow, leaving the attic door open behind me. When I'm in the part of the attic where we can stand, I watch as Owen pulls the covers back and climbs in first. Axel looks to me, offering me a smile and I climb in after Owen, settling on my back. Axel shuts down the lights, only leaving the twinkling ones in the ceiling a light before climbing in too.
"Roll onto your side, facing Owen," Axel murmurs and I nod my head, doing exactly that. Owen is already facing me, the twinkling lights lighting up his face just enough so I can see him.
A hand comes onto my waist, over my tank and my body is pulled into a hard, warm one. Owen's leg slides between mine, hooking mine up onto his hip. Warmth surrounds me at my back as Axel moves in closer to us, his hand going to my hip and resting gently there.
I breath in a deep slow breath and close my eyes, the feeling of being this close to them so intense; warm and safe. And surprisingly comfy.
"Goodnight," I murmur, already feeling sleep pull me under.
"Goodnight, Sang," they say together and I fall asleep with a smile on my face, sandwiched between to warm and hard bodies.
