The overflowing thoughts of being unaware of the cause of my mothers death had my mind blurred- I couldn't stop thinking about how Derek has known for months and didn't inform me.
"Nell Where did you come from?" I ignore Stiles, held captive in my pondering feelings. Out of the corner of my eyes I see him place his hand on my shoulder.
"No, No- Stop Scott !" I snap out of my thoughts to see Scott fixated on Kira again.
"What? I need to talk to her." Scott approaches Stiles and I.
"No, you need to remember someone left a coded message telling Barrow to kill her." Stiles seems on edge today.
"Which is why I need to talk to her." He shakes his head
"Scott, no way."
"I don't think that's such a good idea" I speak up, receiving a concerned look from Stiles.
"Until we figure out if she's just another psychotic monster that's going to start murdering everybody, I vote against any and all interaction." I agree with Stiles, untill i can figure out what a Kitsune is and the dangers its best if we keep our distance.
"What if she's like me?" I chuckle
"That girl walked through 1.
21 Gigawatts of electricity.
She's not like you." Scott sighs
Deep in contemplation, I somehow find myself in Biology sat next to Lydia; soon to be joined by Aiden.
"Sweetheart, since this is my first class and I haven't taught in five years, I just want to remind you of one thing. Try not to embarrass me." Lydia laughs at her moms remark.
"You should've thought about that before wearing those shoes." Lydia's mom looks down at her shoes and a brittle smile appears on my lips.
"Love you, too." Mrs Martin makes her way to the front of the classroom.
"Lydia why's your mom teaching biology?" Aiden asks
"Because Mr. Harris used to teach biology-" i interrup her.
"Until his new occupation Human sacrifice." I point out, opening my textbook to the correct page .
"What? I didn't kill him." Lydia scowls at Aiden.
"The other night, I helped save someone's life. That felt really good- And I look at you, and all I can think is that you helped kill Boyd." Lydia sighs
"You're not just a bad boy, Aiden. You're a bad guy. And I don't want to be with the bad guys." A awkward silence fills the room.
A few minutes pass "Either of you two wanna go to a party" Aiden says out of the blue.
"What kind?" I look up from my notes.
He smiles at me "A black light party."
