Prince of Monster Falls (Billdip)

Chapter 1: The Encounter

~Dipper POV~

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and flying above my head. My eyes fluttered open to see a beautiful sunrise peeking out of the trees. I stood up and walked over to the pond where a pink mermaid with big pink eyes, long brown hair and a bright pink tail sat on a rock, eating a fish. "Good morning Dipdop!"she said with a big smile. "Morning" I said yawning. "Aw, your yawn is so cute!" Mabel squealed. "I told you. I'm not cute. Anyway, I'll be back soon, I just have to go get breakfast. See ya." I said trotting away. "okay, But be careful, it's hunting season. I don't want you to get hurt." Mabel said, concern in her voice. "I'll be fine" I said disappearing into the thick forest.

'Berries. Berries. Berries. Ugh, where are you!' I thought as I was carefully walking around looking for my berry bush. 'AH! There they are!' As I was reaching out for a strawberry, I heard a slight rustle in a bush behind me. I froze then glanced behind me, then I heard a click. I then dashed out of there. 'Oh crap! Oh crap! A hunter! Why of all times!' I thought blindly running into a closed patch of twisted branches. I was flung back, my large antlers caught in the branches. "NO! NO! NO!" I yelled as I heard the hunter's foot steps getting closer and closer. I tried to untangle them when I heard another click behind me, I then froze out of fear. "Well, what do we have here." I heard a mans voice say as he was slowly walking around me to have a look at my face. When he made it into my vision he looked awfully familiar, I just don't know where. "S-stay a-away from m-me!" I yelled still trying to escape from the branches. He bent down to get a closer look, That gave me the opportunity to drag my deer half around to the front, then kick him the stomach with my huff. He then flew back and yelled, "Dang it! Ugh!" He said laying there clinching his stomach. I finally got free and ran over him, but he held onto one of my antlers and said "You aren't getting away that easily." swinging himself onto my deer half like he was riding a horse. I imminently stopped running, which flung him forward onto the ground, flinging me with him hitting the ground. I gasped for air and arched my back. The next thing I knew there was gun up to my head. "Wow kid. You are stronger than you look." My eyes widened, "What? Are you going to kill an endangered species." I said with a stone cold voice. He then said "Huh. Now that I think about it." BANG! I glanced down to my leg, that was now gushing out blood. I screamed at the top of my lungs gasping for more air. "Hehe. not so fierce now are you... pet." He said grinning. Then.... all I saw was black.
