"To be honest, I seriously don't even know why we're having this party," Charlie Bone said to Billy Raven as they glanced around the ballroom. Everything was set up for the party; the art students had decorated the ballroom to look like Hobbiton. "Isn't Hobbit Day supposed to be in September?"

"Yeah," said Billy. "But Manfred wants to put on a musical based on the Hobbit book. And whatever Manfred wants, Manfred gets. It's not fair."

"I know," said Charlie. "Plus, I have to learn the songs that will be used in the musical, so I can't complain."

"Who knows what's up with Manfred," said Billy. "Plus, I'd like to know where he gets these crazy ideas from. When last I checked, Manfred hates musicals."

"I don't know why," said Charlie, "seeing as I seem to recall that one story where if anyone says the word "musical", everyone in the school has to sing."

"Yeah," said Billy. "About that..."

Just then, Old Ezekiel Bloor wheeled himself into the ballroom as the kids were finishing the set. He said to Charlie and Billy, "So you boys are still talking about that musical, aren't you?"

"Well," Charlie began, but Ezekiel said, "I have the perfect song for this musical."

"Oh no!" said Billy.

"If it's anything like "The Spell of Love", I don't want to hear it," said Charlie.

"Shut up, boys!" Ezekiel yelled. "I will sing!"

Here's the song Ezekiel sings:

"In the middle of the earth, in the land of the Shire, lives a brave little Hobbit who we all admire

With his long wooden pipe, fuzzy woolly toes, he lives in a Hobbit hole and everybody knows him

Bilbo (BILBO!) Bilbo Baggins! He's only three feet tall!

Bilbo (BILBO!) Bilbo Baggins! The bravest little Hobbit of them all!"

When everyone heard the song, they all screamed in horror and fled from the room. Manfred yelled out, "Uuuugggghhhh! Grandpa, why are you singing that Bilbo Baggins song? Now you totally ruined the legacy of Leonard Nimoy!"

Ezekiel laughed, but Charlie and Billy ran from the room covering their ears. Once they had heard the Bilbo Baggins song, they couldn't unhear it.
