The Wedding

Tina's P.O.V

"Queenie stop messing with your dress you look fine!" I scolded, she gave me an annoyed look

"I know I know, I'm just really nervous I'm getting married for crying out loud!" She stage whispered.

I grabbed her hands "just take a deep breath okay, it's almost time for you to go down there!"

Usually I was the one freaking out not Queenie, but here we were, While I was trying to hold her still, Newt came up behind us.

"Oh good your here!" I said, "Queenie that means it's time I do not want to see you messing with your dress while walking down the aisle!"

I gave Queenie one last hug and kissed Newt on the cheek before I walked down the aisle, as Queenies one and only bridesmaid.

Everyone was watching me and I saw Jacob smiling, I walked and stood over on his left,

"Are you nervous?" I whispered, he laughed "is that even a question?" He said

I smiled "you'll do fine,"

Everyone stood up signaling that the bride was now coming, Newt was escorting her down the aisle, I smiled, I wished our father was still alive to take Queenie down, but seeing Newt with her made my heart happy.

He was smiling and blushing and Queenie was giggling saying something to him, I laughed they were two of my favorite people and I loved them both.

Newt gave Queenie to Jacob, and then came and stood by me, I knew soon it would be Jacobs turn to take me down the aisle.

Newt grabbed my hand as we listened to them say their vows, they were loving and beautiful, perfect for a couple like them. "You did great!" I whispered,

He grinned "all I did was walk," I smiled.

To me it felt like the ceremony flew by and soon enough I heard the words "you may kiss the bride."

I grinned as the two kissed and the crowd cheered, I looked at the crowd a lot of Queenies friends had made it from America.

I didn't see Phillip though which was good, I was lost in thought but Queenie grabbed my hand and pulled me along with the crowd.

"Come on!" She laughed "I didn't rent a ballroom for nothing."

I laughed feeling incredibly happy for her, the church was not far at all from the ballroom, it was usually rented out for wedding receptions.

When Newt and I finally went in, people were dancing or eating.

Queenie and Jacob were walking around saying hello to their friends.

"Would you like to dance?" Newt asked

I turned to him and smiled "of course," he lead me to the dance floor. As we were dancing he said.

"You know it's kind of weird being at their wedding, I still feel like it was yesterday when we were chasing our creatures around New York."

I grinned "our creatures?" I asked he smiled at me.

"Hey you agreed to marrying me, it comes with the job." He said

I laughed and leaned closer into him, "speaking of that did you have a date in mind?"

He met my eyes "hmm how about tomorrow?" He said laughing.
