The Engagement

Tina's P.O.V

Queenie was sitting at the table across from me next to Jacob, she looked frustrated.

"We leave you two alone for no more then an hour and you get yourselves kidnapped!" She exclaimed.

Jacob looked at Queenie trying to comfort her "yeah that was pretty stupid of you two, you could have been killed, I mean Newt I laying in bed for crying out loud passed out!" He said

"Look we were just investigating and things got out of hand, and-and." I started crying

"Tina what exactly happened." Queenie said she and Jacob came over and gave me a hug.

"The Niffler died and and-" I kept stuttering unable to get any words out. Queenies eyes saddened

"The Niffler? Wasn't he Newts favorite, oh dear he must have not taken that well at all." Jacob said

I nodded sobbing "and I- I think I technically got engaged I'm not really sure,"

Queenie and Jacob looked at each other and then to me,

"Excuse me?" Queenie said

I started crying even more "and Grindelwald cast the Crucio curse on Newt and Leta killed the Niffler and I already said that didn't I."

Jacob picked me up and put me on the couch "Teenie you need to sleep or eat or something hun."

"Oh my goodness Queenie and your wedding is in two days and I haven't been a very good sister and I'm sorry I'm so terribly sorry." I sobbed

"No no Teen you've been a perfectly good sister tomorrow you and I are gonna go on a girls day," she said

"And then you'll leave me." I cried,

She turned to Jacob "she's not thinking straight and she's gonna make herself sick if she keeps crying."

"What do you suppose we do?" Jacob whispered.

I could hear them but I wasn't processing what they said, I heard Queenie snap her fingers.

"I know!" She exclaimed, I then felt Jacob pick me up again he and Queenie were whispering to each other.

I couldn't see what was going on every time I opened my eyes tears just clouded them.

I felt my self being set down "you sure bout this?" I heard Jacob say

"Positive, if you could hear their thoughts you would do it to, she's stressed I'm leaving her but she doesn't really know she's found someone to replace me."

"Took them long enough," he whispered

I still had no idea what they were talking about but I was to weak to ask as I drifted off to sleep.

Newts P.O.V

My whole body ached like it had been shot a million times, my eyes and my head hurt. I tried to move but I couldn't.

I opened my eyes and saw Tina sleeping right next to me her head on my chest. I didn't know how either one of us got here but I really didn't care at this point.
