After my argument with Alexis, Sam went home after an hour or so. I was home alone with nothing to do.
I was watching Sherlock when the intercom decided to disturb me from my awesome wide eye day dream about Benedict.
"Ella, you are wanted in the mansion." I heard Jamie's voice from the intercom. I huffed standing up slowly, switched the tv off and walked out of my cottage, towards the mansion.
I entered the mansion from the back door like always, Jamie was standing there already waiting for me. I raised an eyebrow at her and she smiled. "Miss. Kinston wants you in her room." After saying that she went back to work.
"Okay." I said slowly and walked out the kitchen and made my way towards Alexis' room.
What's so important that she had to call me?
I knocked on her bedroom door and Alexis opened it smiling widely.
I was sure my eyebrow touched the ceiling in surprise at her smile.
I walked in all the while scrutinizing her every action.
"Oh, Ella is here." I heard Giselle's voice making me snap my head in her direction.
I was floored to see my mum sitting on the single seater sofa beside Giselle's.
I gave mum a questioning look to which she shrugged shaking her head indicating she doesn't know the reason why we were here either.
"What's all this?" I asked directly cutting to chase with my arms crossed and looking at both the Kinston witches.
"Come, sit Ella." Alexis said sweetly holding my arm and leading me towards the vacant loveseat.
I sat down pulling my arm free from her hold with a glare.
"What are you both tryi-"
I was cut off by the knock on the door. "Come in." Giselle yelled and the door opened to reveal Jamie with a tray. She smiled walking towards where we were and offered us coffee.
"Go now and don't let anyone come here or even be in this floor." Giselle ordered.
"Yes, ma'am." Jamie nodded walking out of the room and the door clicked shut.
I raised an eyebrow waiting for any one of the Kinston to explain what the hell was going on.
"What's the reason behind all this?" My mum asked sighing.
We both know all this is too good to be true.
"Oh, can't we have a family coffee time?" Giselle asked pretending to be offended by my mum's question.
I scoffed. "What family are you talking about?" I spat glaring at Giselle.
Giselle was neither offended nor angry at my outburst instead she laughed, even her laugh was fake like her.
"Ella sweetie, we are family and I am your aunt whether you like it or not." Giselle still had that smile plastered on her face.
She knows how to rile me up. BITCH.
"Aunt? Family?" I said the words with clear distaste. I couldn't even bring myself to say these words, it was foreign to my tongue.
"Family don't do this." I pointed at my mum's attire that is, her maid work clothes. "Family don't treat each other like you treat us." I snapped.
Her smile fell almost instantly and was replaced with a sneer. "Don't act smart with me. You are nothing." She hissed, her eyes in slits clearly showing her true colour.
