Hey!!! I haven't lost motivation in this story. To make it up to you for not updating recently, I'll tell u something. Something. See? I said something. Anyways, on with the story.

Here the cringe goes!!!

Percy POV

The explosion went off, leaving tremendous amount of rubble flying through the air. Everything became chaotic, causing havoc. I sensed something really fast behind me, before I turned around, a rock hit me behind my head, sending me into darkness.

I woke up somewhere, lying in a dark room. I got up and looked around.  My vision was still blurry, so I had to focus. After a few seconds, I was able to see clearly. I looked around to gather more detail, and I noticed I was in a cave. But the rocks looked different, and the air wasn't normal. I was in the underworld. Out of the shadows, Hades emerged. The lord of the Underworld.

"How long was I out?" I asked. I didn't want to make any more enemies, so I decided the nice approach.

"Only a few minutes. Don't worry, I don't want to hurt you, I just wanted to warn you. I too, don't like or understand the gods' decisions and behavior. However, I am not the only one to think that way. Some gods are on your side." His words were wise, but nonetheless dangerous. If I took his words and took his offer to be an ally, I could be falling for the gods' trap. I had to make a decision quickly, my friends are probably in trouble.

"Just what are you asking?" I ask to clear things up.

"To team with you and be of some help," he said. He was wearing a long red and black cloak. It looked creepy, but I was used to it.

I had to think deeply. I could take his offer and have an extremely powerful partner. This was tricky. But for some reason I believed him. He may have been forgiven by them and accepted back to Olympus, but he still had grudges. And now I could see why. The gods acted out of fear. But not all of them. Especially my Father.

"I accept."

That's all I said. I turned back, ready to leave and help my friends, when he said something.

"Listen. The gods, they know you're going to Camp Jupiter. I prefer you change your plans."

"What do you suggest?"

"I suggest you go back to Camp Half-Blood. The gods might attack-"

Right then, an iris message popped up in front of me, revealing Zeus. Hades was behind him, so Zeus couldn't see him. But what Zeus was doing made my heart stop beating. He had his sword at Grover's throat.

"Wh-what are you doing?! don't! Wh-what...don't...don't do this Zeus. I'll do anything." I said. I didn't know what to say. He was going to kill my best friend.

"No...Percy. You give hope to the demigods. This...this is how they lasted for so much millennia...they stop any potential threat. Percy-" Grover was stopped by Zeus.

"Silence! You will speak no more!" Zeus bellowed. "Now listen here Jackson. You will die. I freed Ares after destroying Camp Half-Blood, he is there with your friends. If you die now, then I will let the demigods live. Your friends. Your family."

I knew he might not keep to his words. But I had no other option. He was going to kill Grover. He was going to make him die. It was my fault. If I would've not started up a riot and rebellion, then all this would've never happened. I had to put an end to this.

I looked at Hades, who stared at me with wide eyes. I shook my head signalling for him not to come out of the shadows.

"I accept. I will die by Ares' hand. I swear on the River Styx. Now you promise." I said with my voice shaking.

"You are in no position to give orders to a god. You have no other option but to follow. Got it? Now go." Zeus said. My fatal flaw was loyalty.

"Don't do it Percy! No! Don't! You're my best friend!" Grover tried. I turned my back to him. I began walking away. I used the water vapor in the air to thicken around me and send me to the river where I could sense Ares. I couldn't hear Grover anymore. That would be the last time I ever talked to him. Him begging me to live.

-------------Line Break-------------

The teleport powers was a trick I learned from the new powers I got from killing my Father. I didn't like it one bit, because I got it from killing him. To me, it was a bad trade.

I reached there instantly, deflecting arrows. I wasn't even thinking. I didn't know what I was doing. I tapped into my power, acting like I actually was going to win. If I was going to die, I wanted to die letting people know I was trying, even if it wasn't true.

Ares took out dual-wield blades that were amazing. They were glowing red and a streak of black running through the middle. I quickly recovered from the shock, remembering my actual goal.

I took one last long glance at Annabeth, her wavy blonde hair, her striking grey eyes. I turned back to Ares, and charged, knowing I was going to die. I was ready.

Third Person POV

Zeus cut the connection. He looked at Grover. "My son, Jason, and Piper may have escaped. But I only needed one. Now I don't need any."

Grover shook his head in disbelief, backing away in fear. But it was no hope. With one strike of lighting, the young satyr was a pine tree.

Don't hate me!!! Just in case you forgot, after satyrs die, they turn into a plant, or something like that. Just like Coach Hedge. Yh...I'm sorry. Honest. I love Grover, G-Man. But, I had to. Ugh. Once aagain don't hate me!!!
