chapter 4

*Reids POV*

"Spencer, get up, you said you would make me breakfast," whispered Cass.

I got out of bed and put on a white t-shirt and jeans. Cass also got up. She wore a black camisole and blue skinny jeans.

We both strode into the kitchen. A very familier wolf whistle sounded behind me. I turn around to see Sam, my room mate.

He is a nerd like me. Sam and Garcia get on well as he is into techy stuff too. We met in Nevada 15 years ago. 

He has blonde wavy hair that flops over his forehead. It mostly falls into his brown eyes.

"Sleep well?" he asked, "next time could you be a little quieter!"

Cass blushed. "This is Sam. Sam this is  Cassia," I introduced them. "Call me Cass" she said shaking his hand.

I start frying eggs, tomatoes and musrooms. I put the bread into the toaster and boil the kettle.

Sam looks at the food at raises his eyebrow. "I'm a vegatarian," explained Cass.

After we ate, I took Cass to the park. We walked down to the lake and sat on the green grass. We talked about a million and one different things. 

                                                       Cassia's POV

"About 3 months ago, You mentioned a previous girlfriend," I begin, "What happened."

I could feel him stiffen up.

"Emmmm, Maeve....she was so smart. We only met once which is kinds wierd. She was being stalked so we only spoke only on the phone, every Sunday. One day when I tried to call er a masked voice said "Zugzwang" twice and then hung up. She was kidnapped. The team found her pretty quick and I went in alone. After the woman who kidnapped Maeve shot me. She uh, raised a gun to her head. Se killed herself and Maeve in one bulllet." Reid said as a tear rolled down his cheek.

"I'm so sorry" I said in shock. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek. He hugged me back.

"I'm sorry" he said apoligising.

"Look forget about it, how about some lunch?" I said, getting up.

                                                     Reid's POV

It was time. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the little red velvet box.

I turned to Cass and got down on one knee. I opened the box revealing a gold ring with a single diomond on it.

"Cass, I know we haven't been together for long but it feels like an eternity. Will you marry me?"

Her eyes teared up and she nodded. She put her hands around my neck and kissed me. It was a long kiss and in that moment, I don't think I could have been happier.

"So about that lunch."
