A/N: Yo...haha to be perfectly honest I feel like shit and really didn't feel like writing this month but I did promise monthy update, so monthly update it is.
When I look back to all the times we've been together, it makes me feel immensely upset. Why? Because it's taken me about a year to realize that my best friend, Ruby Rose, has used me for literally everything. "Y/n," She called out. "Rubes...Hey," I replied looking back at her.
"You mind?" She asked pointing to the table. "No not at all." I smiled fondly at the girl. "So, I hate asking you to do things, you know that right?" Ruby asked me. 'Oh no.' I thought. "Could you please let me copy your History homework? Professor Port will literally rip my head off if I don't have it!"
I looked at her in pity and affection, she used those annoyingly adorable silver eyed puppy dog look. "Ugh, fine. I hate that you're so fucking cute. Here you go, Ruby." Ruby immediately jumped up to hug me. "Thank you so much Y/n!" I laughed a little at her. "What would you do without me?" I asked teasing her a little. "Nothing," She replied as she grabbed the papers from my bag and walked away. "See you after school Y/n!"
I sighed as Weiss and Yang walked closer to the table Ruby and I once sat at. "You have to stop doing that." Weiss stated. "What?" I asked though I already knew what she was talking about. "Spoiling my little sister; she can't depend on you." Yang pointed out. "It's true, why do you even tolerate the dunce?" Weiss asked as she sat down.
"Look, I just do okay?" I replied opening the book in front of me. "Okay Y/n; two things, one you can't avoid the question forever, and two, you opened the book backwards." Blake said as she approached the table. "Oh come on, don't gang up on me; and you all know the reason why I do what I do." They looked at each other. "Yeah, yeah we know you're whipped for Ruby." Yang said smirking.
"But will you just let her use you and let yourself be her doormat?" Weiss asked me. "Y/n, remember there's a fine line between doing everything to keep her happy and being her own personal dog." Blake pointed out. I sighed and rubbed my temples. "You know what, talk to her. Tell her about what's happening Y/n, it's the healthiest thing to do as of the moment." Weiss suggested and my eyes widened. "Weiss are you crazy? This is Ruby, RUBY ROSE; she's never going to talk to me again if she finds out!"
"Look, you don't know that, just talk to her, okay, Y/n?" Yang offered as Blake backed her up. "Okay, I'll talk to her tonight." They smiled at me, and then Yang looked at me with a cutesy smile. "Y/n~" The blonde called out. "Yes Yang?" I asked curiously, as she drew closer. "Can I copy you're history homework?" Yang asked and soon after Blake and Weiss pulling both her ears. "What is so hard about a simple research assignment about the Grimm War?" Weiss asked. "You sisters are too much alike." Blake responded after the heiress. While they scolded Yang for her laziness to do the appointed homework, I decided to type out a quick text to Ruby.

I waited for Ruby on the swings where we'd play as children. She was a half hour late before she came running out of breathe. "Hi, sorry Jaune held us up in Science class and you know how-" I cut her off in my frustration. "Yeah no it's fine, it's not the first time," I mumbled annoyed. "Look I'm sorry Y/n, we can hang out any other time!"
I shook my head. "I needed to talk to you about this! About how you're always using me!" I finally let out, both our eyes widened. "What did you say Y/n?" Ruby asked holding my shoulder; I brushed her hand off. "You heard me. I'm so done with all of this, you being late for the only times we spend together,"
She looked at me with tears in her amazing silver eyes. "...N/n, I didn't know..." She muttered looking at me with those obnoxiously cute silver eyes, but this time, I was purely frustrated. "Don't do that! How do you not know that I was annoyed by this? This is like; our whole friendship; you use me and I let you because I fucking love you!"
I panted for air because of the tears that were currently falling and the emotional rant I just let out. Tears were let out, and the only noise that could possibly be heard was the birds chirping of the birds in the background. Ruby looked into my eyes with wide eyes and a light blush on her face.
"Y-Y/n...You love me?" She gasped out. "Yeah, and I know that you will never like me in any way and you're clearly just using me so we should just-!" She cut me off with gentle lips. My eyes went wide, I felt her pull away with a smile. "Okay I guess I was wrong..." I joked.
"I only copied all of your homework because it's the only reason I'd ever talk to you without having a panic attack, but I've always had a secret crush on you, N/n." Ruby explained as she smiled warmly at me. "You should've told me, love." Ruby nodded "Yeah I really should've." She joked as I laughed. "All that matters is you told me now, and you know I feel the same."
Ruby smiled as she pressed her head against my chest, sighing contently I wrapped my arms around her. "I love you Rubes." I muttered through her dark hair. "I love you too, Y/n." We stayed like that till it started to rain, in the end we both ended up with major colds, but it was worth it.
A/n: Haha, I'm late I know, I just got so busy this month and didn't have too much time for myself. So I owe you all one more and it's coming out tomorrow, I hope you enjoyed this and I will see you next time. Bye~!
