All Kai wanted was to finish her spell but no, of course something has to interrupt her. Slipping on her shoes, she heads out into the cold morning to investigate the sounds of an animal crying loudly. Mind you, she's all about taking in injured and weak animals but it's cold out and this is the third time trying to do this spell. But the thought of a little animal dying in the cold outweighed her self-preservation. She's a sucker for the cute ones.

The grass is getting the toes of her shoes wet, but the cries are getting louder, so she guesses she's close. When she finds the source of the crying she's surprised to say the least. She assumed it could be a deer or maybe a small bear, but no, in front of her is a gangly, sandy colored wolf with it's hind leg caught in a bear trap. To make everything better, it wasn't just an ordinary wolf, it's a fucking werewolf. So yes, Kai is having the best morning of her entire life. It's not that she's groaning internally because it's a werewolf, she's groaning because now that her scent is all over the place where the wolf in injured, the wolf's pack (which is probably on it's way right now) will be able to track her and she will most likely get blamed for the entire thing.

So, like every smart witch, she decides to take the wolf back to her bungalow with her to heal it. She raises her hands into the air, imagining the ground around the wolf lifting and moving forward as she walks back her home. She walks quickly because she's: a) cold and b) there is a wolf pack that will probably be on her ass in less than 5 minutes and she likes her ass, she does squats.

Her bungalow is decent sized, it has a bathroom and a bedroom separate from the kitchen and living area. She even has room for a dining table. She has a shaded garden in the front with her magical plants and a front porch. She doesn't really want any of the locals from the town coming across her house either, so she put up a magical barrier/wall around her home to look like nothing is there. She came all the way out to not be disturbed while practicing her magic. So it looks like there is just a grassy field to anyone who doesn't know what they are looking for.

Once she and the wolf are inside her barrier, she lets the floating ground fall to the actual ground and just lets the wolf and bear trap float inside her home. With another wave of her hand she moves the ruined spell and equipment from the dining table to the kitchen counters. As soon as she places the wolf down on the table, she fully examines what she's gotten herself into.

The wolf looks young, with its gangly limbs and paws that are too big for it's body. It still has a lot to grow. The bear trap caught it's hind leg in the meaty, muscle part. Kai sighs, knowing she will have her work cut out for her but there's nothing she can do until the wolf is back in it's human form. She begins to prepare a shifting potion for the wolf. It's a simple potion, more like a tea, made with the last of her lunar water, and some herbs and spices. While the potion finishes brewing, she pries the bear trap open making the wolf to whine lowly.

"Shh Lobito, drink this," Kai pours a little bit of the potion into the wolf's mouth. What she didn't realize until too late was that wolves shifted naked, so she has an unconscious, injured, naked boy on her dining table. Turning around quickly, she waves her hand at the blanket on the couch to cover the boy but leave the wound uncovered. She didn't need him freezing and it would be creepy and weird.

She began cleaning off the dried blood and dirt from the gnashes on the young wolf's leg. They were deep, and he wouldn't be able to shift with stitches. But wolves heal faster when in wolf form, she uses butterfly stitches to at least close the wound before she makes the healing slave. All of the oils and herbs made her home smell so nice, and it covered the metallic smell of the wolf's blood. After applying a thick layer of slave to on top of the stitches, Kai wrapped the young wolf's leg with some gauze. She would check them again when he woke up.

It wasn't until late afternoon when Kai was meditating the wolf woke up. She didn't even realize he was awake until he cleared his throat and started talking.

"Um... where am I and why am I sitting on a table naked?" Kai jumped so far into the air, startled beyond comprehension. The wolf, hearing her heartbeat momentarily stop, apologized. "I didn't mean to scare you, sorry, but I'd like to know how I..."

Kai whips around as her heart is restarting and the words die out from the wolf's mouth. She didn't realize earlier because she was so focused on the blood but the dude is cute. "Um... I found you in the woods caught in a bear trap so I sort of brought you back here so you wouldn't die?"

Seth was completely lost. First he still doesn't know exactly where he is. Second, he remembers the bear trap, but he also was in wolf form, so he doesn't know how he's human right now. Third, the girl, who's table he's sitting naked on covered in a blanket, is ridiculously hot. Fourth, said girl apparently saved his life.

"I should probably find you some clothes..." The girl, who's name Seth still didn't know, walked out of the room before waiting for an answer. Seth tried speaking to the rest of the pack but, for once, he didn't hear anything. His mind was quiet. The girl came back a few minutes later with some sweatpants and a t-shirt. "I don't know if these will fit but these are the biggest things I have. I'll um... let you change." She thrusts the clothes into Seth's hands before walking back out of the room.

Seth quickly changed into the clothes she gave him. The t-shirt was tight, it was like a second layer of skin and the sweatpants weren't much better. They weren't necessarily tight but they were short on him, like caprise. Seth left the blanket on the table and followed the girl's heartbeat to find her. She is sitting outside, looking out at the trees.

"Um, thank you for the clothes." Seth stands behind her in the doorway. "I'm Seth, by the way." This girl is kind of insane, letting a stranger into her house like this, and living in the middle of the woods. He would never say it outloud but he figured she is one of those recluses that lives in the woods and does yoga all day. His first impression of her was meditating.

The girl turns around and looks at Seth before bursting out in laughter. "Oh man those do not fit at all." Seth couldn't help but agree, because no, these don't fit him at all. "I'm Kai." She saying in between wheezes. "Lobito we need to do something about those clothes because I can not have you walking around my home like that, my mother raised me better than that." Kai gets up and moves to go through the doorway but Seth doesn't move. He's taken enough rez classes to know that she's calling him a wolf.

"How did you know." He looks down at her, she barely comes up to his shoulders. He's in no condition to be seriously fighting and his pack is nowhere to be found in his head. But why would this girl go to the trouble of patching him up if she wanted to hurt him?

"No worries, Seth. You are among friends. I'm a witch."
