"So are u going to Elina's party tonight? I heard everyone's gonna be there." Julia says walking with me to English.

"I haven't been invited though" I say opening the classroom door for me and Julia

"Oh come on miss goody goody, ever heard of sneaking in?" She asks, placing her books on a desk beside me.

"But Elina is in, you know, Lillian's group" I whisper behind my hand.

"There'll be boys" she chants.

I playfully roll my eyes and pay my attention to the dumb ass teacher.

"Alright, today we are going to be working on our imagination and creating our own stories" the teacher says.

Everyone groans, this can't be good.

"Well if it's such an effort, you can work in partners." The teacher sighs.

Oh, maybe not so bad. "That I'll be choosing." Or not.

As she calls out the partners, I lay my head on the cool desk, not paying any attention to my name, covering my head with my hoodie.

I can't stop thinking about that guy, Grayson, and I barely even know him.

"Di Nasoo!" the teach shouts.

I sit up, she said my last name wrong.

"It's Di Nezio" I correct her. People find it hard to say my last name, maybe it's because I'm Italian, I don't know.

"Di Nezo, sit up and start working, your partner is waiting." She says. She purposely said my name wrong again, why would you call your student by their last name anyway?

I sigh. "Sooo, what-" I hesitate at the sight of my partner.

"You again?" We both say at the same time. It's Grayson.

We both stare for a long time.

"You - I - um" he stutters.

"Hi" I smile.

He smirks. "Hi" showing his perfect teeth.

"I did know you were in my-" I hesitate

"Me neither, how didn't I- ha" he stutters, scratching the back of his head.

This is so awkward.

"Is it me or is it hot in here?" I giggle nervously, fanning myself.

Why am I so nervous? He's literally a perfectly normal human being...

Yeah perfectly beautiful. I think to myself.

AHH, Jessy! You literally just met him yesterday! My conscious says.

He coughs. "So, you good at English?" He laughs.

"Pfft, I can't write a poem to save my life" I say.

"Same" he says fiddling with his pen.

"So how's everything with 'Lillian'?" He says swinging back on his chair.

"It's great" I say sarcastically.

"She can be a bit of a bitch sometimes" he says looking over to see Lillian talking with her 'BFF's'.

"Tell me about it." I say, rolling my eyes.

He looks at me. "Just a thought" he says. "have you ever been in a Comp before?"

"A Comp? For what, boxing?" I ask.

"Yeah" He says.

I shake my head sadly. "If I was, my parents would kill me" I say, holding my head in one hand.
