Chapter 7

It's been a week since that night, nagulat ako. And my week before has never been this busy.

"Delavin, what's my schedule for this day?" I am standing infront of my boss, hindi ko maiwasan na hindi mapatitig sa mukha nito. Gosh.

Maghunusdili ka Kristen.

Hawak ko ang Ipad na naglalaman ng schedule niya sa araw-araw.

Nakalukot na naman ang noo nito na para bang bitbit niya ang problema ng mundo.

He is really something i must say, may mga araw na mabait ito, may araw na parang ni-re-regla ito pero mas marami ang araw na ang kulit nito.

And this day is one of those regla days of his, nag breakfast na ako kanina ng sama ng loob at ngayong lunch na ay kunsomisyon naman ata.

"All cleared as you said po Mr. Barbers." He nodded as reply.

"You are coming with me." Nakayuko ito at binabasa ng maigi ang kontrata na hawak.

"Ha? Ano po?" Parang nabingi ako dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Bingi ka ba?" He arched his brows and was staring at me.

Na mis-interpret ko na naman sinabi niya.

"Opo." I replied then walked out of his office. Aba kanina pa kasi siya namumuro sa akin. He's my boss but sometimes i really want to kick his shin and jewels for treating me like this.

Hindi ako sumang-ayon sa gusto nito kaya siguro nang-iinis ito lalo.

I'm dead tired.

Sinama ako ng Demonyo na nagsusuot ng suit and tie sa La Union, His Hometown.

He specifically told me to bring long skirts and old fashioned clothes dahil dalagang pilipina ang lola niya.

But when we came here, her Grandma's fashion is the same as mine. Pero yung mga damit na pinadala sa akin is the complete opposite of my taste.

I nudged my elbows on his ribs, "You liar." I angrily whispered to him.

He grinned and whispered back "I didn't actually expect you believed what i said."

Her grandma welcomed me with so much warmth, she even praised me.

"Edward, pumanhik na muna kayo ng nobya mo sa taas at mag-hahanda na kami ng panghapunan."

It's a trap. My eyes widened in surprise because of his grandma's remarks.

"Pero Hin-" hindi ko na natapos pa ang sasabihin ko sana na pagtanggi sa sinabi ng Lola ni Edward.

Hinila niya na ako paakyat at pinauna pumasok sa kwarto.

"Edward! I didn't agree to this before. Uuwi na ako." Nakalabas na ang isang paa ko sa kwarto niya but what he said made me comeback running.

"Get out and i'll fire you." He had a grin on his face when he said that.

"Joke lang yun. Saan ba kwarto ko?" Sabay bawi ko.

"Here." Nakahiga na ito sa malaking kama.

Nagbibiro ba ito? "Me?... You? One bed?" Napalunok ako ng laway dahil sa namumuong kaba sa dibdib ko.

He was staring at me. He was just staring and showing no emotions. Kaya mas lalong lumundag ang pagtibok ng puso ko.

"Yes."

Nabitawan ko ang maleta ko, i guess i have no choice then. He said it with finality.

"I'll just take a bath. Stay here or bother yourself and go outside." He walked towards the bathroom na sinlaki ata ng kwarto niya.

I'm holding my lotion and was aiming to throw it at him pero nahuli.

"What are you doing?"

"Babatuhin ka?"

"Sige, I'm going to punch you hard." He smirked again. I looked at his lips and i am envious because it's so pinkish.

"You can't."

I jumped because he was already infront of me, "Im going to punch you hard using my lips,i bet you would like that." He planted a kiss on my cheeks kaya mas lalong namula ang mukha ko.

Ang bilis ng bawat galaw nito, first thing he was far from me pero the next thing nahalikan na ako nito.

I pushed him lightly, i want to push him hard pero sobrang nanghihina ang katawan ko dahil sa ginawa niya.

Naiwan lang ako na nakatulala at nakaupo sa kama. Natapos na siya sa ginawa niya pero i was still dazed.

"Baba tayo." He said, at nauna na bumaba.

How am i supposed to backfire kung kaunti na paglalapit lang namin ay nanghihina na ako.

Nagbihis lang ako ng damit at sumunod na rin sa baba.

"Oh Kisses dear, halika ka at umupo sa tabi ni Ed." Her grandma asked me to sit beside Ed..

I smiled at sinunod nalang. I have no choice! Gusto ko na umuwi pero im trapped. Before arriving here E threatened me.

And when we arrived here, he reminded me.

He left me with no choice.

Matapos ng dinner ay may bonfire party sa labas ng bahay nila.

It was fun, may nagkakantahan and their family's bond is really solid. Kasi masaya talaga, makikita mo sa mga mukha nila.

"Ay nasunog yung marshmallows..." Natunaw at nangi-itim na yung mallows ko.

"Here, take mine."I almost jumped.

Edward was suddenly beside me, kanina lang nasa tabi nito ng kaibigan ng cousin niya.

Pero now he is beside me, i flinched at the contact of our body.

"Ha?" Dahil sa gulat ay hindi ko ata narinig ng malinaw ang sinabi niya. He took my hand at ibinigay sa akin ang roasted mallows niya.

"Uh. Thank you?" He just smiled as reply.

"Let's sit there. It's cold in here." He removed his coat and put in on me.

Lumayo ako ng kaunti sa kanya. "Hey, i need your body heat. Move closer."

I thanked God for the dark shade kasi gabi na and i can hide my embarassed face from him.

His arms were around my body, we snuggled. He was so close, i could smell him, a mix of his aftershave and perfume --made me addicted to his scent. His heart beating like a time bomb. And i'm afraid that my heart would soon beat like this for him.

I'm afraid that when i wake up.

Napahawak ako sa kwintas na suot ko at huminga ng malalim.

I might actually fall for him.
