What do you know?

What do you know of anything?

Do you know anything at all?

Say all that you know.

Now, don't you feel small?

Don't you feel worthless?

Don't you feel your true value radiating through your very pores?

Can't you see?

Can't you see that your life is pitiful?

Can't you see that your very existence is null--

You mean nothing.

Go ahead and take your own life.

My time is precious.

And I do not wish to waste it on you.

I watched him cry, that executive businessman. I watched him fall from the skyscraper's roof and fall just like a pint of lead to the business highway of flashing colors of cars below.

I pity him.

My words were a test and he failed.

He took his own life because I told him to.

"Pathetic," I scowl and walk away from the roof's edge. Another's presence meets me and I spin, my hands already engulfed in black and cerulean flames. My eyes have already shifted from their dark olive shade and my choppy black and blonde sweep is already lifting in magic from over my cursed eye.

"Calm down, Ducan," the voice says, but I don't calm down immediately. The enemy can and will often use their familiarity with you to catch you off-guard.

I know from past experience. My scars and memories are proof I've trusted and hurt myself. So I know form past experience how painful mistakes can be.

I know all too well..
