Two weeks later I ran through the Arizona airport terminal to Levi, who looked more toned than when I'd last saw him. I launched into his strong arms and they wrapped around me not wanting to let go. I missed the musk smell of him surrounding me, I missed his warm lips, I missed his beautiful brown eyes. I nuzzled my face into his neck taking in every bit of him.
He kissed my hair a bunch of times murmuring how much he missed me, how much he loved me and all I could do in the position I was in was kiss his neck. Eventually he sat me down on my feet and looked down at me. He put his hands on either side of my face kissing away the happy tears running down my cheeks before he moved his lips to my own.
I wrapped my arms around his neck gently, his hands now on my waist, pulled me to him. When we moved our head back, our lips just hovered over one another, not wanting too much distance between them.
"I missed you so much," I said softly.
He smile gently. "I missed you much more. It's hard to make it through grueling practices without you on my mind. I'm glad you made it down to see me play in the first spring trainin' game tomorrow."
I grinned up at him before kissing him once more. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," I whispered.
He took my hand and we strolled down to luggage pick up, while he kissed my cheek a bunch of times as walked. We stood in front waiting for the luggage from the plane to come around the belt. Standing behind me he wrapped his arms around me, holding me so close not one bit of air sat between our bodies, and it didn't phase me for one moment.
When my bag finally came around he picked it up not even giving me time to pick it up myself. He cocked an eyebrow at me daring me to object. I smirked holding my hands up in defeat. "All you, baby." He grinned taking my hand in his.
When we came out of the airport terminal to the parking lot, I thought about the fact that we currently didn't have a car. At least I thought we didn't. He had to have a rental to get to the airport from his hotel or even just to get to practice.
"Levi?" I said as we crossed the street.
He glanced down at me. "Yeah?"
"Uh, how'd you get to the airport? Did you get a rental?"
He smirked not looking at me though I was still looking up at him. "Now why would I rent a car for a few months? That, baby," he said looking down at me. "would be crazy."
We came to a stop in parking lot still looking at one another. He let go of my hand briefly to pull a set of keys out out his pocket. "I bought a car, obviously," he said with a passive expression before shrugging and pressing the auto-start button on the keys. I heard the car start and reluctantly tore my eyes away from his. My mouth dropped when I saw the beautiful silver Audi A8.
"When the-" I began
"A few hours after I got here and realized I had no way of getting around since I left my truck home with my baby," he said smiling down at me and I grinned up at him.
"Does this mean the truck's mine?" I asked and he shook his head 'no'.
"Not at all, baby. My truck is...my identity. When I come home for the start of the 2013-2014 season, this beauty will be yours."
My breathing definitely stopped. "This is mine?" I whispered and he nodded still smiling at me. "Levi, I-"
"I know baby, you're welcome. You gotta get around some how and what better way than in a beauty like this."
I smiled before kissing him. "Thank you," I whispered.
"You're welcome m'lady," he replied in a super proper voice making me laughed as we walked to the car.
