I remember the day
The sun refused to shine
When we both couldn't say
What was on our minds
When the mistletoe hung above us
Yet we paid it no mind
I remember it clearly
The way the snow fell
My heart following suit slowly
No one could tell
No one could hear it shattering
The carols were too loud
And they still are
So when the snowmen are up
When the lights are blinking, flickering
And the children start singing
I can't help but think of you
