Hiya Everyone! My name's Sharky, amateurinresidence, and I'm one of the coordinators of #UnderMyShell. I'm just gonna tell you a little bit about #UnderMyShell in this chapter and what it is that we're trying to say.
#UnderMyShell was originally thought of by myself, however, I have the help of two amazing fellow wattpadders - Alishaillarramendi and fangirlingforever303. We're all so excited to make this campaign, and we hope you'll be excited to join it, too!
These days, people put up outer 'shells' of who they think they should be. In our many Wattpad books, we have girls trying to impress boys, the mean girls turning good, the bad boys turning good and the 'daddy's' children trying to impress their parents. However, this isn't who they truly are inside.
Take Lana, for example, from Caught By The Bad Boys by Raathi07. She puts up a front as a stereotypical good girl to impress her father, but inside she's a true badass.
If your book has a main character with a deep, dark secret or is pretending to be someone they are most certainly not, then this campaign is rightfully a part of your book!
