"Come on, Mari. It's my turn to decide, so please?" Alya begged, shaking my shoulders with her eyes were filled with hope.

"Uh," I replied, rolling my eyes. We were now in front of the counter of the cinema, buying tickets for a certain movie.

An Adrien Agreste movie.

"Please please please? I need this for my Adriblog. Besides, it's my turn to decide for a movie!" she exclaimed, stealing glances from the frustrated long line of people behind me. I didn't know what to do; waste my money for a boring film, or just simply ditch my best friend to avoid myself from watching the movie.

I'd go with the ditching plan, but it would hurt Alya's feelings. She has never ditched me before, even when the movie I picked was action and gory, which is the genre she despises.

We made this small deal since junior high that we would take turns to choose a movie every Saturday, or simply any free day. Today was Alya's turn, and she picked Gangster Love, a movie where the famous Adrien Agreste starred in. It has just came out days ago, and Alya literally screamed when she saw the trailer.

"Come on, you're holding us up!"

"Hey, are you done with your stupid cat fight?"

"Mommy, are they on their period?"

"Oh my god, you're taking too long!"

I grunted and slammed my cash on top of the counter, "Fine."

Alya squealed and grabbed the tickets from the lady, wrapping her arm around mine and dragged me inside the movie theater. The moment I entered the large room, cold air slapped me in the face, making me zip up my jacket that I was wearing.

"What the actual fu-"

"Language, Mari," Alya interrupted, walking up the stairs as she looks for a vacant seat. Honestly, this whole room is crowded with squealing female monkeys with make-up looking like it was done by a dog.

To my happiness, we finally found two available seats and sat there, waiting for the movie to start. Well, actually, it was only Alya who was waiting, while I was just sitting there, sulking, knowing that this day would be the worst day ever.

Number one, because I would be listening to "Adrien is such a daddy" shit for two whole hours.

Number two, because I would have to look at loving scenes that would make me want to barf. You can't really see at least one movie starring Adrien with no scenes like that, so yeah.

Number three, is that Alya would strangle me every time Adrien would speak.

When the trailers were finally done, the female monkeys start to squeal. One of them, which is behind me, starts kicking my seat in excitement. I decided to ignore it, but after awhile, the annoying kicking was starting to get on my nerves and I turned to look at the girl behind me with a death glare.

"I swear," I snapped, "If you would ever kick my seat again, you'd never see your precious daddy anymore."

Her green eyes were as wide as saucers and she nodded her head frantically, pursing her lips. "Sorry." she apologized.

As soon as I turned back to face the front, Alya nudged me on my side and said, "Gee, you don't have to be so scary. You could've at least requested nicely?"

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah right, as if. Even if I would go on my knees and beg, she wouldn't stop since she would think that I'm that nice girl that everyone can pick on. So, if I scare the shit out of her, she's stop, for sure."

Alya sighed and rubbed her temples, "I have no idea what happened to you. You were so nice and so sweet before, what the hell happened?"

I didn't move for a minute. Memories of that certain night began to flash inside my head rapidly, making my heart go heavier by the second. The reason why I've changed. The reason why I hated this certain person so much that the very sight of him would want me to kill myself.

I clenched my fists and closed my eyes, trying to relax and to stop the tears from falling.

"People change," was all I can say, and thank goodness, Alya didn't say anything anymore.
