With You

First Date

Tiana (Two weeks)

Tonight is suppose to be my official date with Troy, hopefully he doesn't stand me up again. As I'm looking through my closet I can't find anything cute to wear.

"Must be date night." Dria said laughing

"Supposedly, you know if he shows this time." I said pulling out my purple plaid shirt, and my black tank top and pair of my jeans. 

"He'll show or we're beating his ass forreal this time." She said

"Well let's hope we don't have to result to that." I said laughing going to bathroom so I can get dress

As I got ready my nerves started to set in. Truthfully I don't know how to act on no date I never really been on one. Considering the fact that when I was in high school the boys didn't find me attractive. At first it bothered me especially when they'll compare me to my friends or my older sister at the time. Then I came to realization that I'm beautiful just way am I no matter what others say or think.

"So where are y'all going?" Dria asked me knocking me out my thoughts

"I think the movies and out to eat." I said

"Cool, that should be fun you nervous yet?" She asked me

"Ask me that again when he actually shows bup." I said brushing my hair

The next thing I know my phone started ringing and Troy's name pop up on the screen.

Phone Call:

Troy:  Hey baby , I know I was suppose to take you out tonight but I  can't

Tiana:  Why isn't this surprising, what's the excuse this time

Troy: See what happened was that I was waiting at the building door for the 10 minutes so I figure you didn't want to go.

Tiana: What! Seriously

Troy: Nah, I'm just playing but I am at your building door

*Call ended*

Hanging up the phone I open my room door and peeked my head out to see him standing on the outside. He looked so fine right now. Opening the door he greeted me with a hug on the plus side he smelled good.

"Thought I stand you up again?" He said

"Yes I really did." I said

"Nah I learned my lesson the first time. You ready?"

"Yeah." I said just then Dria stuck her head out the door

"Don't try nothing with my bestie nigga I will beat your ass." She said

I couldn't help but laugh at her as Troy just nodded his as we walked out the door.  During the car ride we laughed and talked about school, music, etc.

"So, exactly where are we going?" I asked him

"We are going to see this movie that you've hinting around that you wanted to see." He said

"I can't help that the movie looks interesting." I said laughing

He didn't say anything he just shook his head and then he pulled into the parking lot of the movie theater. Once he parked he got out and opened my door and grabbed my  hand as we went to stand in line. The whole time we were standing in line he had his arms wrapped around my waist. Anytime I tried to move he'll pull me back. Again this is all new to me I'm not use to this. He definitely shocked me when he kissed my neck, he laughed at my facial expression that I gave him.

"What I can't show my baby affection." He said laughing

"Whatever I never said that." I said laughing

After we got our tickets we inside the theater. I was glad we got in there just when the movie started playing. Somewhere during the movie I found myself laying on Troy's shoulder. The movie was nice I really enjoyed it. It probably was torture for Troy since it was chick flick.

"That's the first and last chick flick I'm going to the movies to see." He said stretching his arms out as we walked out the theater  

"I thought it was sweet movie he didn't give up on his true love." I said

"I rather watch an action movie." He said

"That's why one of the reasons I wanted to see it because I knew it would be torture for you." I said laughing

"That's cold." He said pulling me into his arms then kissing me

"Nah its funny." I said kissing him again

All in all I really enjoyed my first date with him. Now I'm looking forward to see where this relationship goes.
