"Babe, let me get that." Chris said as he gently pushed me out of the way so he could open the door as I held the bundle.
He pushed the door open then flicked the light on before picked up the bag and carrier to follow me in.
"You feeling okay?" He asked as I sat on the large black chair.
"Yea, just need to sit for a moment." I answered as I careful moved my hands so they were more comfortable with holding the soft but slightly heavy bundle.
"Let me take him, Tess." Chris said as he noticed how tired I felt and looked.
I placed the small newborn in his father's arms and watched as Chris gently rocked him. A sparkle in Chris' eyes made me smile as he watched his little son sleep in his arms.
"What?" Chris asked with a chuckle.
"There's something about seeing you hold him that makes me smile." I replied and leaned my head on his shoulder.
"Well you do make beautiful babies Tess." He smiled and kissed my head.
"I'm going to go make some dinner." I said before moving to stand up.
"Nope, the guys said they bought us dinner so you could rest." Chris replied quickly.
"They're so sweet." I smiled.
"Do you think they'll like his name?" I asked.
"Of course." He replied.
A week later, I sat on the couch holding my son while Chris ordered dinner. A knock came from the door making Chris walk over to open it.
"Hey Lydian, how are you doing?" Ricky asked as he walked over making me look up at him.
"Pretty well, he's an easy baby." I smiled.
He sat down next to me and looked down at him.
"He has your eyes and Chris' pale skin." He smiled.
I smiled and looked up to see Chris standing in the doorway with a smile on his face. Another knock came and he walked over to answer the door as Ricky continued to sit next to me.
"Can I hold him?" Ricky asked.
I gently handed the small baby to him and watched as he held him.
"What's his name? Chris hasn't told me yet." He asked.
"You'll find out soon." I smiled.
The guys walked into the room and smiled at us.
"Want to tell them?" Chris asked.
"Go ahead." I replied.
"Well everyone, meet Christopher Angelo Cerulli." Chris smiled.
"You named him after me?" Angelo asked, obviously getting a bit choked up.
"Of course, I couldn't have made this band without you and I wouldn't have met my wife without you." Chris replied.
Angelo hugged him then walked over to me. I stood up and pulled him into a hug.
"Thank you so much." Angelo said.
"No Angelo, thank you." I said then kissed his cheek as a sweet gesture.
