Sad : Friend

This isn't me, but a true story said by someone in YouTube. :)

I've been in the hospital for 3 years. I'm still stuggling with this life. It's lonely. No one wanted to be a sick person's friend. I managed though. 

One day, I met a boy that had leukemia. We became friends pretty quickly and his and my lonely days were over. We both liked anime and music. I had a great time everyday I saw him.

But then, his disease worsened and he grew very ill that he had to be moved. Still, I went over to him in the isolation room and played my favorite song for him. 

He said, "I like the song."

Days went by and eventually, he grew so ill that he couldn't even talk. I didn't really care though, just as long as he was there with me. 

I went to see him again. He showed me a song and pressed play. 

Then, his hand went limp.

I sat there listening to the song, biting down tears. 

My newly found best friend died before me.
