Shenzi's P.O.V

Water laps at my heels, and I wake with a cold start as a wave crashes on the shoar and water slides up the sand, missing my toes by about an inch. Putting my goggles back on, I stand up and stretch, all of my joints protest in pain. My gaze drifts deeper off to the sea. I'm so thirsty, but salt water won't help.

Throwing my backpack over my shoulder, I continue along the beach. Sand seeps into my worn sandals, and scratches my feet. Something half buried in the wet mud catches my attention. Kneeling onto the ground, I dig around the side of the vase, until I can pull it out completely. It's about the size of my head, maybe a little smaller. What intrigued me were the symbols lining the stem of the pot. 'Aniquilación.' I can't read it, though, and I also can't tell what language it is in. Placing it so it rests comfortably in the crook of my arm, I continue walking across the beach.
